Pros: You can create your own color pattern, and have your name stitched on the thumb area.

Cons: Ordered Navy glove with red piping. Within a three months, the color had faded really bad. This shouldn't happen on a glove you are paying $100+ extra for the customization on.

I see the new Rawlings Custom Gloves are made outside the USA. Where are the Wilson Custom Gloves done?
These Wilson Custom Gloves sold by JustBallGloves are still made by Wilson and are built overseas. The location where the gloves are built by Wilson is Vietnam.
Difference between A2000 and A2K 3rd base gloves?
Wilson A2K models will feature the highest leather quality offered by Wilson (cut from the top 5%), double palm construction - prevents premature wearing of the leather in the palm and 3X more craftsman shaping - reduces break-in, ensures ideal pocket structure when compared to Wilson's A2000 models.
My favorite glove way back when I played was the A2000 XLC. What is the modern version of that glove? What is the deal with the gloves that are copies made in Japan?
Wilson allows for one to make a custom glove that will allow to make something similar to the A2000 XLC of yesteryear. Looking at today's models, one that will be similar would be the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB15B212SS.
How long does it take to make and deliver?
The Wilson Custom Glove can take between 10-13 weeks to make and be delivered.
Does this glove come in 13 in model?
The Wilson Custom Glove does not feature a 13 inch pattern.
Can I customize an A2K catcher's mitt?
Yes, after you select the A2K series, you can select from 3 different sizes of catcher's mitts.
Should I get this A2000 steamed for break in?
We would not recommend getting an A2000 steamed as this can lead to durability issues down the road. The best break in this glove we would recommend using a small amount of glove oil or condition and then playing catch with the glove and/or using a glove mallet or ball to help soften up areas that are too stiff for your personal preference.
My daughter's glove is an outfield glove for slow pitch and is 14". I want to buy her a new glove, but she plays first base and first base mitts do not work for her. What would you recommend if I do not want to get a 1B mitt, but she needs a glove for first and outfield?
If you were wanting to build a custom Wilson fastpitch mitt. I would recommend getting an outfield model (12.5" to 13.00"). The 12.5" to 13.00" length would give your player enough coverage for use of the glove in the outfield and for use in handling the demands of 1B as well (since she is not wanting to use a 1B mitt while playing that 1B position).
What glove would you recommend for a 6'2" shortstop. I have found my 11.5" to be too small. I am looking to get an 11.75" glove. What model would be the best for me?
If you wanted a solid 11.75" mitt to use for a shortstop, I would recommend taking a look at the following Wilson mitt: (2017 Wilson A2000 11.75" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB171787).
How long does it take for these to be made?
Delivery of the Wilson Custom Glove Will Take Between 10 and 13 Weeks.
Can I customize an A2000 fastpitch Glove? The website does not make it clear whether the glove I am designing is for baseball or if it is for fastpitch softball.
Yes, you can customize a Wilson Custom Glove. You just need to make sure the model you select is a fastpitch softball glove.
My 13 year old son wants a new glove for travel baseball. What do you recommend for a glove he can use for multiple positions? He pitches, plays third base, but also spends a lot of time playing outfield. He currently uses a Wilson 800 11.5" infielder's glove. I would rather not get two separate gloves at this point.
I would probably look at a 12" glove for someone who plays all those positions as probably the best size for an all-around glove. A high quality Wilson glove in that size would be the 2018 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 12" (WTA20RB18B212SS).

I"m a 5"3'', 13 year old boy looking to get a customized glove for outfield. How can you choose the size of the glove? I want a 12.25'', but the model I want (1799) only comes in 12.75''.
Unfortunately, with the Wilson Custom Glove you can only customize models that already exist within the Wilson line. So you would not be able to get the 1799 model in a 12.25''.
Do Wilson custom gloves ship internationally?
Wilson custom gloves purchased through our site will not ship internationally. You can try contacting Wilson directly to see if they will offer this service.

Can I customize an A2000 11.75 infield softball glove? I went through the whole building process and at the end it asked me for an MLB logo?
No unfortunately, the Wilson Custom Glove builder is only for baseball gloves.
I want the orange & silver A2K glove in 12.25".
Fredrick Lassen
All custom gloves must be made by the customer directly. Unfortunately we are not able to create custom gloves for the customers to ensure there are no miscommunications.
What is the name brand of the coloring dye that's used on the gloves?
Unfortunately, we would not know the brand or name of the products that are used to dye the leather shells of the Wilson Custom Gloves.
What's the lead time on customs?
At this time, the lead time on the Wilson Custom Glove is around 10-12 weeks.
Are all customs built in Vietnam or just custom A2000s? I thought all A2Ks were made in Japan.
Wilson A2K models are all made in Japan. As for the Wilson Custom Glove, we would not know for 100% certainty how Wilson goes about processing those orders in terms of manufacturing location.
Can I get it embroidered?
When creating a Wilson Custom Glove, one can create text for the thumb strip and ring finger portions on the glove.
Being a custom glove, can you put put your name and/or number on this glove?
Keith Patrick
Yes, Wilson does offer the ability to add one's name and/or number to the glove when creating a Wilson Custom Glove.

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.

Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
