Description
Wilson A2000 1786 11.5" Baseball Glove: WBW100390115
Infielders won't need to look any further than this A2000 glove as it will have the length needed for nearly any position on the dirt! And it goes without mentioning, but the excellent looks will give you the swagger you need when competing!
Glove Benefits
A ballplayer can always count on an A2000 glove having top-quality leather. This specific A2000 will have the Pro Stock Leather that Wilson has been using for many years. This will provide quality material on the catching surface and shell backing that will allow the glove to last for many seasons and hold its shape as long as it is cared for properly. In addition to the glove's shell, the leather material that makes up the inner hand lining will be something to write home about. That hand lining will feature the Pro Lux leather that will be butter-soft and it will increasingly mold to a player's hand every time they slip on the glove.
Along with top-quality leather, you can also expect A2000s to provide the Dual Welting feature that can be seen on the backing of the fingers of the glove. Those two lines that run vertically on the finger backings also exist within the finger stalls of the inner hand lining of the glove. This Dual Welting works alongside the Pro Stock leather to make sure the fingers display a quintessential "glove shape" throughout the glove's entire life.
This 1786 model of A2000 glove will deliver an 11.5" length and a Wilson H-Web (I-Web) to infielders. That H-Web will create a really shallow pocket that should allow for quick glove-to-hand transfers

Cons: 14 year old grandson played probably 50 games last summer with the glove before the laces on the webbing broke. Had to pay $$70 to get the glove totally relaced.

Couldn’t Be Better Willis Player
Pros: Easy break in. After roughly 20 minutes of stretching the leather/fingers, you could see it form to my liking. I prefer my glove on the stiffer side and once you soften the heel/palm and break points a bit - it’s ready to go!

Amazing! Fit like a glove! (aheh aheh) Kaden Goodie Player
Pros: 1. Broke in really well! Just get yourself a 3 or 5-pound weight and look at the a2000 tag it gives you to look up how to break it in! Got guys around the club wondering how I broke it in so well in a week! 2. Very comfortable! Compared to the other gloves I have had, this glove definitely comes out on top for comfort. 3. Great look! The glove looks better in person than it does online! If it gets dirty, it doesn't ruin the look!
Cons: At first, the glove is uncomfortable. However, as you break it in and have it merge into your hand, it becomes the most comfortable glove you have ever worn!
Wilson 1786 11.5" TJ Coach

Awesome Glove Mark Parent
Pros: Perfect for my 10 year old. He’ll have it game ready when his season starts in March. At $189, grab this quick
Cons: None so far
Fantastic glove. Easy break in. Comfortable! Chad Parent
Pros: I’ve had a few a2000’s. Some have been extremely difficult to break in. This glove however is nearly game ready in less than a weeks worth of catch play and mild work in the pocket with a mallet. I Never had a high end glove this easy to break in. I ended up wearing it traditional and tightening the wrist laces, and it is a fantastic ground ball glove that is fairly light weight and comfortable. It’s just a pleasure to use. The Wilson flat binding is so nice for wearing a finger out of the finger stall too. This glove just gobbles up grounders. Fun to use.
Cons: I had originally planned on wearing it two in the pinky but the slightly lighter overall build and thinner leather had me worried about the pocket getting too deep, so I broke it in traditionally and it has been awesome for that!
Great Trey Brandsma Player
Pros: It’s so great with break in time and it looks way better in person than online.
Cons: None
I love this glove and guys Jayden Ellinger Player
Pros: I field every ball now
Cons: My dad is still disappointed in me
Great Glove PJ Pinegar Player
Pros: It is very stiff, and the dual welting means the glove will stay stiffer and last longer. Shallow pocket, great for quick transfers. Would recommend for any middle infielders.
Cons: It takes a while to break in. The glove was uncomfortable at first, but after I broke it in more, it loosened and didn’t hurt.
Wilson A2000 1786 11.5” glove Jacob Frerking Player
Pros: Hard, durable leather Lightweight Easy transition pocket
Cons: None
Love this Glove Robert Katz Parent
Pros: I gave it to my son for a birthday gift for a big birthday and he was very surprised to received such a good glove and was thrilled to receive it. He has been working hard to break it in and it's still somewhat stiff, but that's because of the quality of the leather.
Cons: Stiff, somewhat difficult to break in.
