Pros: The look of this glove is awesome. It has a classic look with contemporary web. It's easy to break in and forms a great pocket. The leather darkest with oil, which gives it an even better look. Great glove for a game of catch with your son. Also, a unique option for a coach or parent that has a 10U, 9U or 8U team. If you want something inexpensive but not just an average glove this is it.

Cons: I doubt it would last long with extensive play. Some might not care about this, but there is ZERO padding. My finger was stinging with throws from my 8 year old.

Pros: great out of box feel throughout life of glove so far. A little glove oil,and catch to break in.Nice old school smell. Played baseball for over 15 years best glove ive ever owed wished it was around when i was younger. Will only try a nokona next,due to being U.S.A made

Pros: Great ball feel. Light on the hand. Huge pocket. It seemed to form like a Rawlings. If you are used to a Wilson, it might not be a good match for you.

Cons: Not really a con, but something to note: The glove needs light, frequent oiling. It will require attention and maintenance. It is not a glove you toss in your bag pull out for only game day.

My son is 9 and plays primarily 2B or SS. He has used an 11.00" Rawlings for the past 2 years and it has worked great, but it is a bit wornout. My son wants a Roy Hobbs but unsure if I should go 11.00" or 11.50"? MGOBLUE
