Description
Shoeless Joe Gloves give a player the quality, feel and style of the gloves worn by professional ball players over the last 100 years. You can choose glove models worn in the first half of century in the Golden Age Series or today`s models in the Professional Model Series. The Shoeless Joe gloves are individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. Shoeless Joe gloves are then hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through their breaking in process that leaves the Glove with a beaten up and game worn look and feel of a broken in glove. Thus each glove is unstructured giving it its own unique feature. Players can choose to play with an old time or modern day web without having to change to another model. A great play is lived only once, but your glove, you`ll keep it forever. If you end a game with a clean uniform our gloves are not for you. Shoeless Joe: When it Was Just a Game! Free Shipping!

Pros: I ordered two gloves for my 8 yr. old to try. This one seemed to be more appropriately sized for him. The Shoeless Joe gloves are very easy to break in and he's been catching everything in sight! I will continue to use this product with all of my future glove purchases.

Pros: 9 year old son loves his glove. Excellent break in
Cons: nothing yet
Thrownout27
Pros: Very nearly game ready. Very good quality that indicates a crafted rather than manufactured product. Excellent value and a solid, if not exceptional, glove for the vast majority of players out there. Aesthetically pleasing to the purist.
Cons: Made in Mexico. Would rather this be made in the USA, but at least it's from North America and not China. Jury out on durability and long term performance.
Thrownout27
Pros: A solid glove that is already well broken in. Not a top of the line pro model perhaps, but solid non the less.
Cons: No issues yet, we'll see on durability.
Shmay
Pros: Soft, broken in, and my kid loves it. Has a great look, and he was playing with it in the field after only 2 practices breaking it in.
Cons: Based on recommendations, picked up the 11.5" for my son playing 3rd and going into high school. Probably should have opted for the 12" model, but he loves it as is.
Scarr
Pros: Forms really easily. If it is taken care of, the pocket keeps its form incredibly well. Great for pitchers
Cons: Infielders may dislike the lightweight feel, and lack of padding. You can definitely feel the ball when you catch it. Othern' that, no complaints whatsoever
Awesome glove! C-Rex coach
Pros: I bought this glove last year for my son who is 8. We play a lot of baseball and this glove has held up great! Soft out of the box and maintains the same great feel over a year later.
Cons: None
BEAST
Pros: coolest glove I have ever seen
Cons: none
Son named it glue Cool hand Luke parent
Pros: This glove is great! It has given my nine year old son great confidence that any ball that gets in or partially in this glove will stay. Baseballs just seem to stick to this glove!
Cons: I bought it used and it came more used than I thought. Someone had much larger hands than my nine-year-old. But, it still worked awesome, we've upgraded to a brand new one.
Aquaman
Pros: BEST. GLOVE. EVER. Got this glove as a birthday present for my 9 year old who plays P/OF. He loved it from the second he took it out. We oiled it up and it was broke in by the end of the tournament he played that weekend. His team mates love it, his coaches love it. I was looking for a glove that was completely leather, nothing else. This is it...leather, steel and baseballs. I will be hard pressed to buy anything else again.
Cons: Didn't get it sooner. Spent money on other gloves before this.
Tomanagi
Pros: Great glove. I did a lot of research and bought it for my 10u travel son. He practiced in it once then played three weekend games with it. It was exceptional at SS, 3rd, P, and okay at first. The mod T makes ball transfer easy. I hope it maintains durability over time. Being a young boy, he also likes being the only one on the field not wearing a Wilson or Rawlings.
Cons: Not enough padding for first basemen. If my son played 1st more often, I would opt for either a first baseman's mitt or a more padded utility/backup glove.
prufrock88
Pros: Have had a glove on my hand since late 1960s...I wish it had been this glove the entire time. The leather quality is incredible, it really is game ready, quickly becomes "your" glove--shapes to hand for comfort and feel. By far, the best glove I have ever owned.
Cons: Still trying to find something to complain about with this glove, but still can't find anything.
BigWaveDave
Pros: Who on earth designed this composite of sport, design, history, and art? Amazing product. Wouldn't trade it for any A2000 or Rawlings Heart of the Hide.
Cons: None
Ridges Dad
Pros: Practice couple times and saw its first two games at shortstop today and it was web gem city up the Middle. He gobbled up everything in site like pac man! Hardly a break in period. Believe the company to be very reputable and back their product if there is an issue. My boy is 15 and a sophomore in high school and pretty darn sure this will be the glove he uses this season in high school.
Cons: None as of yet.
Matt
Pros: The glove has a nice fit and feels good. Came really quick too
Cons: It doesn't look like the picture above at all, kind of disappointed in that.
Idaho 83467
Pros: Great looking glove, I bought it for my 9 year old son. We also previously purchased the break in kit that you can buy from justballgloves and my son wraps it in the rubber bands with a ball inside at night and beats it with the mallet during the day and after about a week the glove is pretty close to being broken in and game ready. We are happy with the purchase and quality of the glove.
Cons:
NAIA pitcher
Pros: Love this glove! I have used it for the past year, through a full high school season, summer ball, college fall ball, and the beginning of the college year. The interior of the glove feels great, I personally prefer it to the liner of an a2k. creates a nice pocket. By this point, it is very floppy but is NOT pancaked, which is just the way I like my gloves. Pretty lightweight, and doesn't require conditioning very often due to the pre oiled leather. Great classic look. Laces hold up well.
Cons: Some people don't like the plastic inserts as you can't "mold" the glove. I personally don't mind, and think they give the glove some structure. Others have also complained about the padding, but I can say that as a college pitcher, I have no complaints about the padding.
Great Glove Hugh parent
Pros: Great quality, great feel, looks awesome and it showed up to my door quick.
Cons: Makes me look better than I am.
1150MT Pedro Player
Pros: Comparable to more expensive gloves. Quality pro leather. Highly recommend this glove. I have A2Ks and A2000s, wanted to try something new and was not disappointed with this glove. The smell is awesome too!
Cons: Needed a couple weeks of catch to be game ready for my liking. Rubbed leather oil on bottom of palm and left out in the sun to help break in quicker. If you don’t need it for games out the box then it won’t be a con for you.
