Wilson A2000 SuperSkin H12 Spin Control 12" Fastpitch Softball Glove: WBW10022112

You can't be a Gold Glover without a decent glove on your hand. Get your fastpitch infielder an A2000 and rest at night knowing you've put a quality product on your player's glove hand.

Glove Benefits

This A2000 delivers everything a fastpitch infielder could desire: a light-weight and highly durable glove. The light-weight feel is attained through the SuperSkin material on the backing of the glove. SuperSkin shaves weight off the glove, but does not sacrifice quality. The durability will come from the Pro Stock leather (with help from the before-mentioned SuperSkin). Pro Stock is used for most of the glove and has been used for many years on A2000s to the satisfaction of many amateur and pro players.

Also, do not forget to notice the Spin Control technology that has been added to the catching surface. There are hundreds of dimples on the palm surface of this glove. Those dimples increase the friction on the softball when it enters the glove and decreases the likelihood that the ball could spin out when making the catch.

When you add up all the features on this glove, you come out with a product from Wilson's A2000 line that won't fail fastpitch infielders.

I'm looking for a glove to play shortstop for mens slowpitch softball. I'm 5'5 with not large hands (7" long 4.5" wide). Will this female glove (WBW10022112) be too tight for me? Does this have the deep pocket like the WBW1001541175 model? Or should I just go with the 11.75" WBW1001541175 glove instead? I like that glove but they don't have it in 12". Is 11.75" big enough for playing shortstop in slowpitch softball?

I would not suggest using a female fastpitch softball glove if you are a male playing slow pitch softball. I would suggest something like the Miken Pro Series 13.5" Slow Pitch Softball Glove (PRO135-WSN)
