This glove is built in the classic 1786 style, but it also features the newest and coolest technology that A2000s have to offer: Spin Control.
Glove Benefits
The 1786 style in which this glove is made is excellent for nearly all infielders as it could work at 2B, SS and even 3B. The double laced Xs at the base of the Wilson H-web create a shallower pocket that will allow for very quick transfer times (especially important for the 2Bs and SS's out there).
However, the big feature that folks will be asking about is the Spin Control technology. Nearly the entire catching surface is outfitted with dimples that will increase the amount of friction between the baseball and the glove when making a catch or fielding a ground ball. The benefit is answered by physics. The dimples create more points of friction on the baseball and reduce the amount of spin that the baseball can create. Spin can cause a ball to come out of the glove, but baseballs that enter this glove will have less spin because of the dimples. Expect less baseballs coming out the glove when you use this glove with Spin Technology.

Wilson A2000s come with a LIMITED twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty period. The warranty does NOT cover regular wear and tear, fading of colors, misuse or rips/cuts/tears.
