Pros: I own two vinci ball gloves, one of which is a catchers mitt, and there is no other gloves that compare to a vinci ! That includes zett,akadema,nokona which r fine gloves but they are no vinci. I know pete vinci #22 and his gloved are made with love of his pearl harbor hero. Benjamin Vinci, which is his father and every gloves has Benjamin Vinci stamp on them.

waht is the difference between the JV 20 navy Glove and the AFL 11 glove ? marine59

Both are pretty similar and are made with high quality materials and similar designs. The major difference is the funnel or flare design on the AFL11. If you notice, the thumb on the AFL11 kind of flares outwards in order to create a larger catching surface.

what is the differnce between vinci and other gloves like rawlings and nokona 2quick

Well, it depends on exactly which series you are comparing. Rawlings, Nokona and Vinci have a variety of differnt series and models of gloves with different qualities and attributes. The JV20 is a high quality glove and Vinci has really made a push in recent years and more and more pros are using their gloves. Rawlings is usually on the leading edge when it comes to glove technology (position specific break-in patterns, high tech padding, etc.), Nokona's special because their glove are still hand made in the U.S.A. and are known for their durability and performance.

All three are going to be made of high quality leather. I would give the edge to the Wilson A2K series.

The Vinci is going to be a good glove for the price and easy to break in. However, the Wilson Yak is going to be softer and more difficult to break in.

Both the Vinci Pro Custom Pro Series: JV20 Navy and the Wilson A2000 Series are awesome glove models. The Wilson A2000 Series will be the more popular selection. But the play weight of the JV20 will be less. Both models will be made of high quality, durable leathers.
