Glove Benefits
The Nokona Alpha Select Platinum EP 10.5” Youth Baseball Glove is built for beginners who need a glove that’s easy to handle, comfortable, and dependable. Made with a blend of Full Grain ProSteer leather and Nokona’s newest SuperSoft™ Tanned Steerhide, this glove provides exceptional flexibility while still offering enough structure for young players to learn proper catching technique. The SuperSoft™ leather is vegetable-tanned using organic materials, giving the glove a smooth, soft feel that breaks in quickly—ideal for players with smaller hands still learning to grip and close the glove.
As part of the Platinum Edition lineup, this model is lightweight and responsive, helping young athletes build confidence with every catch. Nokona’s patented Precision Edge™ construction improves finger stability, enhances ball control, and strengthens the glove’s overall integrity—allowing the pocket to form cleanly and consistently. The 10.5” size is perfect for T-ball and early youth baseball levels, giving players a glove that is easy to open, easy to close, and sized just right for developing skills.
Limited-edition centennial branding on the pinky celebrates Nokona’s 100-year legacy of American craftsmanship. Handcrafted with pride in Nocona, Texas since 1934, the Alpha Select Platinum EP 10.5” blends premium materials, durability, and game-ready comfort—making it one of the best starter gloves available for young athletes learning to love the game.
