Do you have the black mizuno fastpitch softball glove: GMVP PRG, in a 12.5? If so where can i find it? thankss kaylee
I'm not sure if that was the complete model number, but I don't believe we have the GMVP PRG. It sounds like the closest option would be the GMVP1258P.
Mark
Could this glove be used as a shortstop glove? Juan
The GFN1153 is an infielders glove. It is perfect for middle infield, 2nd base and shortstop.
Mark

This is a baseball glove that is designed for infield play.
Mark

It will ship same day the order is placed.
Mark
Are the Mizuno Franchise gloves (GFN1153) pre-oiled leather? Jimmy
This is game-ready leather that will be pre-conditioned to give it a softer feel.
John
are these gloves broken in? jakethejakiestjake
The GFN1153 features soft, game ready leather and will be pretty easy to use from day one. It's not really "broken in" because it hasn't been used.
TJ
Can this be used as a third basemen glove? mike
Yes, this can be used for a third baseman
John
I am looking for a new glove for my 10 yr old son. I wanted a better glove, but not the top of the line either. I like the feel of the gfn 1153 and the open web. Are the finger stalls small enough for his hand and would this be a good glove for his age, since he plays short stop? I would have preferred an 11" glove with the open web. I noticed this glove has the parashock feature but not the powerclose as some of the other models have. Does mizuno make an 11" in this model? ron
The GFN1153 should fit your son just fine. It won't fit as small as a traditional youth glove, but he shouldn't have a problem with it. The Mizuno Franchise Series will be very good gloves for players transitioning from youth to higher-end adult models. For a 10 year old playing infield, an 11.5 may be just a tad big right now, but definitely functional and it will be soft enough for him to get it fully broken in after a week or so. The 11 inch Franchise Series glove will be GFN1102 (different webbing, but similar construction and materials)
Tyler
would this glove be good for a 12 year old that plays third base? DerekJ3000
Yes. This would be a very good size and quality of glove for a 12 year old third baseman.
Tyler
Would a 11.50 inch glove be good for a 14 year old who plays third base? Djlynch98
Yes, an 11.50"-11.75" glove would be the correct size for a third baseman.
Nick K.
When will you have this glove in 11.75 inch? C. Rob
There is not an 11.75" in the GFN 1153 model. The Mizuno Franchise Series: GFN1176 is an 11.75" model but has a trapeze style web.
Damon
Hello, I would like to know if this glove fits me? I am 22 years old and have big hands, is this designed for smaller or bigger hands? Thanks. mariano
The Mizuno Franchise Series: GFN1153 will be an 11.50" model size. Typically, at your age this would be a baseball glove used in the middle infield at the college level. It will fit the average size 22 year old player. All of our gloves do come with a 100 Day Guarantee so if it is too small you can definitely send it back for an exchange or a refund.
Brandon
I'm trying to form this glove. What are the best ways to form it fast and keep it at top condition? Centerfielder#5
Apply a small amount of glove oil to the Mizuno Franchise Series: GFN1153 using a sponge or cloth, starting with the palm and working to the break point of the glove and the web and laces. We recommend playing catch or using a mallet to simulate playing catch. To help keep the shape of the glove, wrap a shaping ball into the pocket when traveling or storing the glove. Make sure to avoid excessive water soaking, harsh temperatures, abrasives and salt, as they are harmful to the leather.
