Yes, this is a newer model out by Diamond. It has very good leather for a glove at that price. The full grain steer hide should hold its shape well over time.

I would give the edge to the Diamond Series because it uses steerhide leather. This is going to be a little more durable but harder to break in.

An 11.5 inch glove is perfect for an 11 year old who plays infield and outfield. Diamond gloves fit true to size and I think this glove would fit him comfortably.

The Diamond Diesel Series: IT115 is an awesome glove. The 11.50" size is perfect for the high school middle infielder. He would be able to use this glove for 4 years. The Full Grain American steer hide will compare to the Pro Stock leather of an A2000. The A2000 will be a little more durable and that is where you see the difference in price. I love both gloves.

Both the Diamond Diesel Series: IT115 and the Rawlings Gamer Pro Taper Series are going to be very similar in durability. The Diamond Diesel will require a little more break-in time than the Rawlings Gamer Pro Taper.
