Pros: Lightweight Easy to break in.. Perfect size Universal size for outfield and infield, priced right.
Cons: May not last long.....let's face it, you buy a $300 glove and positions change, this was an intermediate purchase for my son to play outfield with a little extra reach at a decent price. It is not premium leather but it is good quality and will work for the amount of time used.
Pros: Took it out of the box, put it on my hand and played a 7 inning slow pitch game. No break-in, felt like I had been playing with it for the entire season. I have a big hand and it was a perfect fit! Well made for a middle level glove.
Cons: I don't have any complaints.
Pros: Good size for slowpitch infield. Stitching well done. When arrived was the stiffest glove i've ever bought, but is breaking in nicely. In fact, breaking in so fast I am a little concerned about durability.
Cons: Color scheme is a little weird. The interior thumb strap sits on top of thumb (instead of around it like my old Rawlings) so the glove doesn't feel secure on my hand, even when the strap is tied as tight as possible. I have to constantly readjust hand into glove after every catch. Hopefully this will improve with further use as it molds to my hand.
Pros: This glove has a good feel. I bought this for slowpitch. This glove has good leather and looks great. I have a pretty large hand and it feels comfortable to me. For the money I think it is a great buy. I will have to see how it holds up over time.
Cons: This glove is not game ready. If other people received their glove with a similar stiffness as I did I do not know how they played with it. I have spent a little bit of time with it and it is starting to give. I would not play with this glove out of the box. Also I saw a answer to a question that someone posed about this glove regarding the quality. The person answering compared it to a Rawlings Heart of the Hide. As I mentioned before this glove is very nice but it is not the quality of a Heart of the Hide unless Rawlings has started slipping.
Pros: Lightweight, easy to break in. I was using it in games 2 weeks after I received it. Orders from JustBallGloves come with a couple of baseballs and sunglasses. Nice added accessories I didn't know about.
Cons: A bit snug on my hand (I use an XL batting glove)
Pros: Just took it out of the box, so haven't had any time. It is fairly light, which is good.
Cons: My hands are on the small side, but this thing is really tight. That may turn out to be a good thing. Mine is definitely not "game ready." Maybe that's why the first buyer returned it (I got a good discount for "used.")

About the Brand

In Akadema's short but remarkable history it has become one of America's hottest baseball and softball equipment company for professional, college, high school, and serious youth players. The Akadema phenomenon started with the Professional Glove Series and continues with the Reptilian®, Praying Mantis®, Pro Soft™ and Prodigy™ Glove Series as well as the Amish Wood™, Tacktion™ and Xtension® Aluminum Bat Series. Akadema's ownership attributes increasing market share to their innovative professional baseball and softball product line in contrast to mass-produced products that have little to do with quality, feel, or design to raise the level of play.
Akadema's products are manufactured for professional players but are now accessible to semi pro, college, high school, and serious youth players. Akadema products are still designed with the professional player in mind but competitively priced for the professional player at heart. So it's your turn to think like a professional, play like a professional, and use Akadema Professional!
Akadema now has both baseball and fastpitch softball advisory staffs that they work with closely to implement new ideas. Members of the baseball advisory staff include Hall of Famers Ozzie Smith and Gary Carter as well as Howard Johnson, Reggie Smith, Luis Polonia, Sandy Martinez and many others. Fastpitch stars that are on the advisory staff include Crystl Bustos and Julie Smith. The input on performance from the advisory staff gives Akadema something they cannot put a price on. Their advisors don’t talk about marketing or places to sell the gloves, they just care about performance.
