Shoeless Joe Gloves (1300SB) give a player the quality, feel and style of the gloves worn by professional ball players over the last 100 years. You can choose glove models worn in the first half of century in the Golden Age Series, today's models in the Professional Model Series, or youth gloves with the Joe Junior Series. Shoeless Joe gloves are individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. Shoeless Joe gloves are then hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through their breaking in process that leaves the glove with a beaten up and "Game Worn" look and feel, of a broken in glove. Thus each glove is unstructured giving it its own unique features. Players can choose to play with an old time or modern day web without having to change to another model. Ok glove Hit it hard Player

Pros: Easier break in, nice looks, good smell.

Cons: Needed to tighten all laces. The pinky stall has no pinky lace, very sloppy, you could easily put 3 fingers in the stall... I don't wear it that way. Thumb stall has a thumb lace, but it doesn't fit correctly. This glove requires the wearer to use a batting glove to fill the huge voids in the thumb and pinky stalls The glove seems to be floppy, the kind that wraps a hard hit ball... I'll give it a shot...

Great break-in time DK35 Player

Pros: Shoeless Joe gloves are good to go out of the box, for the most part. Some of the strings may have to be adjusted for a good fit.

Cons: The only con is there are no thumb or pinky loops inside some of the SJ gloves and that gives them a sloppy feel when you're on the diamond.

Pros: I've had several Shoeless Joe Gloves. Worth every penny. If you need a mid-season replacement with no time to break in, this is your glove. Especially good if your player is kind of picky. Comfortable and easy to play with. My son outgrew his 1250 and now I'm getting him a 1300

Cons: The only ones I'd be sketchy on are the catcher's gloves if the players are over 12. Also make sure you hydrate these gloves. Will deteriorate faster than most if you dont take care of them.

Firm but forgiving Derik B. Player

Pros: Broke in through one scrimmage. Came in pretty rigid but after one scrimmage it’s perfect. I play first base for my slow pitch softball team and have tried a few gloves this year, this on is the best glove I’ve tried.

Cons: Turns my hand orange but I’m sure that was due to the rain we got while playing. No big deal.

I'm looking for a glove for senior softball and saw the 1300 model in a store. (I think it was the 1300 SB, but it could have been the 1300 MT.) I saw something on your web site indicating that this is a baseball mitt rather than a softball mitt. It looked good for softball, but I'm wondering if there's another model you would recommend instead for softball. Also, is the 1300, in fact, not suitable for softball? Bob
At 13", the Shoeless Joe Professional Series: 1300SB has a larger than average pocket and would be suitable for slow pitch softball.

The Shoeless Joe Professional Series: 1300SB, like all Shoeless Joe gloves, is made in Mexico.

This is our 3rd Shoeless Joe and I'm fairly certain that the last finger wasn't as hard and stiff as the one we received this week. The pocket is fine but that last finger is worrisome and makes me wonder if that is the way it's supposed to be or if there was some error. If it's typical, then we'll just break it in. If it seems to be some production mistake, I'd like to know. Troup
Shoeless Joe gloves do come much more broken in than nearly any other manufacturer that we carry. As well, Shoeless Joe gloves will often vary in small nuances from glove to glove. My suggestion would be to purchase Glove Assurance for $29.99 in addition to buying the glove. Glove Assurance gets you 100 days to try out the glove and if you decide it is not the glove for you within 100 days of the purchase date, the glove can be returned for a full refund.

No, unfortunately the Shoeless Joe Professional Series: 1300SB does not come in a 13.5''. We do not have any Shoeless Joe gloves in that size.

If you want a 14 inch Shoeless Joe glove, I would recommend checking out the Shoeless Joe Professional 14" Slow Pitch Softball Glove: 1400HW. It has a different web than this glove, but I think it will satisfy you need of having a Shoeless Joe glove that is 14 inches in length and available for a left hand thrower.

I would recommend a 13 inch glove for slowpitch softball for those playing all over the diamond. The Shoeless Joe Professional 13" Baseball Glove: 1300SB would work well for this type of player.
