Questions and Answers (6)

Have a question about the SSK Black Line 11.5" Baseball Glove: S19IW2401R? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

My son uses a A2000 Pedroia fit glove. Are the sizing for these gloves similar?
The SSK Black Line 11.5" Baseball Glove: S19BB115D would be most comparable to a regular A2000 fit. It will not have a smaller hand fit like the Pedroia model.
How deep is the pocket on this glove? Medium or shallow?
I would consider this glove to have a medium pocket depth.
Will this glove be light? My son has a 44 glove and it’s heavy like a log. How does this glove compare to the A2000 SuperSkin new all gray glove?
It would be hard for us to say whether or not the SSK Black Line 11.5" Baseball Glove: S19IW2401R would be lighter than your player's current glove. This glove would compare, in terms of leather quality and padding, to that of a Wilson A2000 model and will likely be more game ready.
What’s the difference between this one and the 2020 SSK black line with the gray laces?
The SSK Black Line 11.5" Baseball Glove: S19IW2401R will feature the dimple sensor technology while the SSK Black Line 11.5" Baseball Glove: S20BLIW does not.
Which would be the better buy, this black 2019 SSK or the new 2020 SSK with gray laces and without the dimple sensor technology? Why did they remove the dimple off the 2020 model?
Whether or not to get the SSK Black Line 11.5" Baseball Glove: S19IW2401R or the SSK Black Line 11.5" Baseball Glove: S20BLIW ultimately comes down to whether or not you like the idea of the Dimple Sensor Technology. Other than that feature, these two gloves are the same and, since both are at the same price point, there would not be one that is a better buy.
What country is this glove made in?
Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to get a model of the SSK Black Line 11.5" Baseball Glove: S19IW2401R pulled up to see what country they are made in.
