Wilson A2000 SuperSkin PFX2 11" Baseball Glove: WBW10010611

This 11 inch A2000 is going to have a shorter length and be a snugger-fitting glove. Because of this, now even young studs can get an A2000!

Glove Benefits

The beauty of this extra short A2000 is that it can be used at almost any position out there on a youth diamond. We believe the magic age for this glove will probably be between 7-10 years old. However, if you wanted an extra-small glove for a player nearing teenage years, you could get this glove to fulfill that need.

Overall, if you get this A2000, you are going to be outfitting your player with a glove that has top-quality materials as this glove has Pro Stock Leather and SuperSkin on it. It will be stiff to start, but if you are patient with it, this glove should soften up and be a memorable glove for your player.

Wilson A2000s come with a LIMITED twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty period. The warranty does NOT cover regular wear and tear, fading of colors, misuse or rips/cuts/tears. If you feel that you have a warranty situation and you purchased this glove from JustGloves, please reach out to our Glove Experts. They will provide the info needed to get in contact with Wilson and arrange the warranty replacement.

How much does this glove weigh? My son currently has a Nokona S-100 and considering getting him a new glove. Do not want the new one to be much bigger or heavier. I would be interested in learning from you other gloves that are similar to this one. e.g. 11". I see that the S-200 have a weight listed but not on this Wilson A2000. I love the idea of continuing to support a 100% USA brand like Nokona but have heard the SuperSkin is lighter. Want to understand how much lighter though.
Unfortunately we are unable to weigh the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin PFX2 11" Baseball Glove: WBW10010611 at this time.
My son is 8 years old and on the smaller side. Will this give be too large or too heavy? Currently uses the Marucci Geaux 11” glove.
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin PFX2 11" Baseball Glove: WBW10010611 would not be too big for a 8 year old player but these gloves are stiff and would be heavier than a typical youth glove. Due to how difficult it would be for an 8 year old to try and break this glove in we would not recommend it and would advise going with a Wilson A1000 glove.

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.

Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
