Have a question about the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 11.25" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB191788SS? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

What is the difference from the 2017 Wilson A2000 Super Skin 11.25" Baseball Glove: A20RB171788SS? What age would you recommend this glove?
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 11.25" Baseball Glove:WTA20RB191788SS is a glove best suited for an infielder who has an adult sized hand. A player 13 and older so be able to use this glove rather well. The main difference between the Wilson A2000 Super Skin 11.25" Baseball Glove: A20RB171788SS and the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 11.25" Baseball Glove:WTA20RB191788SS is the colorway design as both models feature SuperSkin.
I'm looking for a glove for a 12-year old. He's on a travel team, and normally plays second base or short stop. He's on the skinnier side. I'm not sure if he would do better with a 11.25 or 11.5". What are the differences between the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 11.25" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB191788SS, Wilson A2000 11.25" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB20PF88, Wilson A2000 Pedroia Fit 11.50" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB19DP15, and the Wilson A2000 11.5" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB201789. I'm also considering an A2K. He recently lost his glove, so we need something that won't take a really long time to break in, but is still a nice quality glove.
Glove size is purely personal preference, so that is something you and the player will have to decide. Both 11.25" and 11.5" work well for middle infield. The Pedroia model will be slightly smaller fit than the rest of the gloves mentioned and is meant for an intermediate sized player, so that is the one I would probably recommend. The other models are all considered adult gloves. The SuperSkin version will offer a slightly lighter glove due to the SuperSkin material implemented. Other than those two, the biggest difference will be cosmetics. All A2000 models will be of the same leather quality and offer a similar overall design, with very slight differences here and there, which can be found under the "Features" section for each glove. I would not recommend an A2K if you want something to break in quickly. It is made of higher quality leather and as such will take longer to break in.
Is there anyway I could get this glove at an 11.5 inch model? Iā€™m thinking 11.25 could be too small. Is the 11.25 standard size similar to an 11.5 Pedroia fit or nah?
Unfortunately the Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 11.25" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB191788SS is not made in an 11.50 inch size. As for fit, this glove has the standard hand fitting to it.

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.

Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
