I am a second basemen who is looking for a Wilson A2000 model glove. Would the G4 or the 1786 model be better for me? Jimbo
Both the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15G4) and the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB151786) are top of the line gloves that are going to feature a 11.50" pattern and have a H-Web design. Both the G4 and the 1786 are ideal for a second baseman, really the only difference is going to be the color of the gloves.

Is this a good glove for a high school freshman shortstop or third baseman? Mike P
Glove size ultimately comes down to player preference, but the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15G4) is an excellent option to consider. The 11.50" pattern is great for a high school middle infielder or third baseman.
Jason
Would this glove last 4 years for a shortstop in high school? andy123
How long the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15G4) would last would be based more on how it is taken care of but it is high quality and should last a long time if taken care of properly.
Patrick
Why isn't this glove available for Left handed throwers? I am a pitcher and I do not want a trapeze web, or a glove that is 12.75 inches. I prefer an 11.5 inch glove with an H-Web. Troy
Wilson has not indicated why they did not make the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15G4) for a left handed thrower. Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to order that option.
Patrick
Is there any problem for a pitcher to use this glove because of the white laces on the black glove? luke p
It is ultimately up to the umpire whether the coloring of the laces on the Wilson A2000 Series (A20RB15G4) would be distracting for a pitcher to wear. It would be a risk that you would take using the glove for pitching that an umpire or opposing team member or coach may take issue with it even though they are actually a tan color.
Patrick
Would this glove be a good choice for a shortstop and pitcher In high school? Nelson Baseball
At 11.50", the Wilson A2000 Series: A20RB15G4 would be a great choice for a high school shortstop. Pitchers tend to prefer gloves that are a bit larger (11.75-12.00") and gloves that have a more closed web design. But you could definitely make this glove work for you at both positions.
