add_circle_outlinePros: This particular glove is amazing with fantastic leather that will last you. It is a great infield glove and it only took me a week to be able to use it with two fingers in the pinkie pocket. This glove is particularly good with turning double plays quickly.
remove_circle_outlineCons: This glove is for a smaller hand but it was great for me and you can just adjust the wrist laces. Takes a lot to break in the glove but whatever you do don't use glove conditioner.
Does this Dustin Pedroia model come with the "low profile heel" like the older Pedroia models did? It doesn't mention it in the description.
The Wilson A2000 11.5" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18DP15 will feature the low profile heel like in the other DP15 models of the past.
I am a middle infielder and prefer the DP15 model. I'm not a fan of SuperSkin or the thicker leather A2K mitts. (1) Besides colors, is there any difference between the 2017 and 2018 DP15 models? (2) Also, could I custom order and get a different color 2018 DP model?
(1) This Wilson A2000 11.5" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove (WTA20RB18DP15) will have the same features as past year A2000 DP15 models. The biggest difference between an older DP15 and this one will just be the new cosmetic scheme to this glove. (2) You could design a custom DP15 with the Wilson Custom Glove builder on our website. However, the custom Wilson mitts take 10-13 weeks to be built and delivered to customers.
I heard that the DP models are fit for smaller hands, is this true?
The Dustin Pedroia models, such as the Wilson A2000 11.5" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18DP15, do feature a smaller hand opening and tighter finger stalls for a more secure fit.
My son is almost 10 and we are looking for a new glove that will last him a while. He had a Shoeless Joe that we could never really get a tight enough fit. Would this version of the A2000 work for youths, or is there a better match for a high quality youth glove? He plays USSSA AAA/Major, about 60-70 games a year.
The Wilson A2000 11.5" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18DP15 is certainly a high quality glove, and with the Pedroia fit, it will be snug enough for a younger player to wear it.
How long will this glove hold up compared to Rawlings heart of the hide series?
As far as durability goes, The Wilson A2000 11.5" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove (WTA20RB18DP15) is very comparable to the Heart of the Hide series. I cant say the lifespan of the glove because a lot of factors play into that. As far as leather quality go, they are about equal.
What is the difference between this glove and the SuperSkin model?
This Wilson A2000 11.5" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove (WTA20RB18DP15) will differ from the 2018 Wilson A2000 11.75" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove (WTA20RB18DP15GM) as this glove is an 11.50" glove (WTA20RB18DP15GM is an 11.75"). As well, this mitt does not have SuperSkin and the WTA20RB18DP15GM will feature SuperSkin.
Do you know when this glove will be back in stock?
Unfortunately, we do not have an expected shipment date for the Wilson A2000 11.5" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18DP15 at this point int time. If you are looking for something similar, I recommend checking out the 2017 Wilson A2K Dustin Pedroia 11.5" Baseball Glove: A2KRB17DP15GM as it will also be in the same Dustin Pedroia line, and offer an 11.5" I-Web glove made for a middle infielder.
Beside the color scheme what"s the difference between this glove and the 2017 DP15?
This Wilson A2000 11.5" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove (WTA20RB18DP15) is the same mitt as the 2017 Wilson A2000 11.5" Baseball Glove (A20RB17DP15) with the only exception being the new color scheme.
Is this glove small enough for a 9 year old 2nd baseman? Or do you think it is too big?
This will probably be a bit too big for a 9 year old's hands even with the Dustin Pedroia sizing of the finger stalls and wrist opening.
Is this glove big enough for a 13 year old?
The Wilson A2000 11.5" Dustin Pedroia Baseball Glove: WTA20RB18DP15 would be an excellent option for a 13 year old playing in the middle infield. It will have a slightly smaller wrist opening and shorter finger stalls than a standard adult glove, so keep that in mind if your player has large hands.

Pro Soft Glove Conditioner
(1) - First remove any existing dirt by wiping the glove with a clean, dry cloth. (2) - When clean, rub a small amount of conditioner into the leather with hands or clean cloth. (3) - Work it into the web, palm, laces, inside of the glove, & any other area that has become dry or is starting to crack. (4) - When finished, place your glove in a warm, dry area (70 - 90 F) & allow the leather to absorb the conditioner for 24 hrs.
