Description
Shoeless Joe Gloves give a player the quality, feel and style of the gloves worn by professional ball players over the last 100 years. You can choose glove models worn in the first half of century in the Golden Age Series or today`s models in the Professional Model Series. The Shoeless Joe gloves are individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. Shoeless Joe gloves are then hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through their breaking in process that leaves the Glove with a beaten up and `Game Worn` look and feel, of a broken in glove. Thus each glove is unstructured giving it its own unique feature. Players can choose to play with an old time or modern day web without having to change to another model. A great play is lived only once, but your glove, you`ll keep it forever. If you end a game with a clean uniform our gloves are not for you. Shoeless Joe: When it Was Just a Game. Pros: I bought this glove last year at the msbl world series trade show, and I every time I wear this glove, people want to try it on, and they ask where I got it. This glove is sold game-ready, no breaking-in necessary. The best glove ever, and for a good price. You will not be unsatisfied!!
Cons:
Pros: Great glove, I love the look and feel of the glove.
Cons:

Cons: there is no cons about this glove
Pros: i have had this glove for a year and when i got it it was partialy broken in i got it at the end of the season i just got it out today and its fully broken in amazing glove
Cons:
Pros: Bought this glove for my 14 yr old after his Worth glove starting stinking to high heck. Came to us greased and ready to go. Did not have to go through the whole breaking in process. Ready to go out of the box. Sweet glove, very well made and does not stink. Shoeless Joe? What a great name for a glove.
Cons: none
Pros: Great glove. Leather feels more broken in out of the box than my 7 year old Nike glove.
Cons: Makes me want to buy more Shoeless Joe gloves.
Pros: Got this glove yesterday and already broken in! soft comfortable leather! Quality made glove, Fits perfect to my hand. Put a little oil it today and had a catch for a little bit today. That pretty much fully broke in my glove. Beatuiful glove and love it already! Best i have had
Cons: --------
Pros: Out of the box was just like it had been played with for years. Great glove and feel. Would recommend to anyone. My son played with it the first night he got it.
Cons: None!!!
Pros: Great glove with a nice deep pocket! right when i got the glove it was game-ready and has nice lacing to it. i would recommend this glove to EVERYBODY.
Cons: none at all!
Pros: Great glove! will last you a long time and is game-ready the second you get it.
Cons: Could use more padding in the palm. Hurts very badly when you get hit there hard.
Pros: I've got guys who choose to use high end gloves; for example: Rawlings 125th Anniversary model, or/and Wilson's 1786 'game ready'. That said, I have one guy who prefers this glove over others. Personally, I was not familiar with Shoeless Joe mitts. Bottom line, the price difference does not equate to the difference in quality. Good job Joe!
Cons: You may never see it in the hand of a Gold Glover.
Pros: I have been using this glove over 1 year now and this is my best mate in the field! Recommend to all players who love the vintage look.
Cons: its quite thin and you might need to add extra pad / wear a glove with pad to reduce sting.
Pros: This glove is amazing straight out of the box! Only took a few days for it to be fully broken in. I play outfield and 1st base and I use it for both positions. It forms an amazing pocket so is great for both positions even though it is not a first base mitt. It also smells amazing and is made out of amazing materials. I for see that this mitt will last a very long time for me.
Cons: Only thing I have found so far is that the glove is for really big hands. I actually had to add in two extra holes in the wrist area for the mitt to fit tight enough so my hand wouldn't slip around. otherwise this is an amazing glove!
Pros: Excellent glove! Extremely pleased with this glove.
Cons:
Pros: Great Glove. Great company to do business with. Great price too.
Cons: None
Pros: This is one of the finest gloves I have ever bought. It was ready to use right out of box.
Cons: None
Pros: Broke in right out of the box love this glove smells good too.
Cons: None.
Pros: Good Quality, & very good desk support. Excellent shipping & return service.
Cons: Glove was a little small for my son's hand (14 year old a Freshman in highschool ) His palm didn't quite fit far enough up in his glove. Ordered another brand of glove, fixed issue.
Pros: Ready to go right out of the box and getting used in winter training. Now I have one for myself and don't need to borrow my dads!
Cons:
Pros: 13 year old boy has fallen in love. glove came in ready for the first game. best glove I've ever bought and i didnt get to use it
Cons: none
Pros: Felt great when I got it real nice
Cons: the last year its starting to break down had to get tighten up no padding can't wat to see it when it comes back reconditioned
Pros: Player ready right out if the box! We just completed Spring and Summer ball, with the new Shoeless Joe. My son loves this glove. Glove arrived and my son took it to practice same day. Glove performed well catching fly balls and grounders. Looks great, performs excellent after four months of extensive travel play. A few teammates are picking up a SJ also. Worth every penny......
Cons: None!
Pros: broke in and game ready. leather is great. looks as good as it feels.
Cons: everyone wants to try it on.
Pros: Nice glove...fast shipping!
Cons: Too small....returned??
Pros: It looks great--like I've had it for years. Great craftsmanship. Awesome pocket. And the smell is amazing.
Cons: The glove is a little tighter than I thought it would be, but it seems to be working in as I using it.
Pros: Great old time look Modern design with touches of old school Needs working in but wont take long Has a nice shape and feels good on grown up hands
Cons: Chemical odor out of the box
Pros: Quick shipping Pre broke in Awesome
Cons: None
Pros: Loved the feel and fit. Not too stiff Nice pocket and leather reinforcement. Easy to retrieve ball from pocket to throw. Good weight and width and length.
Cons: None
Pros: Workmanship, fit and finish: A+. Very similar to my 50+ year old Rawlings Brooks Robinson model. I added the Just Gloves break-in, and I am glad I did. A broken-in glove out of the box is wishful thinking. It was still a bit stiff on arrival, but after a week it feels like an old friend. Interesting aroma BTW, a little strong at first, but attractive after a few days. A little weightier than my old glove, but all-in-all great feeling. Very happy.
Cons: The stitching bulges a bit inside and was uncomfortable against my pinky at first. I squashed it down gently with a clamp and it no longer presses in. There is a patch for keeping the index finger outside, which I do not do, and it too pressed on my finger at first. Some stretching with a smooth stick (a drum stick, LOL) corrected this. Pulling, stretching and rolling is part of breaking in any glove, and this is no exception. No complaints whatsoever after these minor adjustments.
