Pros: Excellent quality for the money. Great Rawlings pocket and comfort. Very little break in needed. Several friends have them; all are satisfied.
Cons: At this price-no cons.
Pros: Great glove. I've had it for about 8 years. Durable lacing, has barely needed adjusting. Nothing ever pops out of this basket. Contains softballs no matter how much spin/slice is on it.
Cons: The only con I can think of is that it feels a little silly when I play catch with my kid using his baseball. 14" is just too much glove for a baseball. For softball, it is a dream.
Pros: Great Quality for the price. I use this in slowpitch softball. This glove works great for me at 3rd base as well as in the outfield. Very little break in time as well.
Cons:
Pros: So far ive only used the Glove in one game but after using some rawlings glove oil and playing a little catch its been working super well!
Cons: Don't really have any cons.
Pros: Great glove pit more oil on it within two days very soft and game ready
Cons: None
Pros: Super fast break in period Super comfortable Well ventilated Can take a beating Very responsive
Cons: I didn’t buy more than one
Pros: Very happy with purchase love quality and arrive as promise
Cons: Excellent
Pros: This is an outstanding glove for the price. I'm still breaking it in but it will not take long, maybe 6 or 7 games? I play senior 12" slow pitch in the outfield and occasionally first base, the glove is good at either position. Very happy with the purchase.
Cons: The only con I can think of is I wish the rawhide was drawn tighter in places where they tie it. I'm having to use two sets of pliers to draw the ends tighter in a few places. Besides that, no other issues.
Pros: Awesome glove, I had put off buying a new one for a long time because I couldn’t find one I liked, but ended up with something I’m truly happy about and proud of. Shipped to my home within 2 or 3 days of getting the order in. And I was thrilled about the price. Super affordable price for an excellent glove. And it came delivered game day ready while still being able to be molded into what I wanted.
Cons: Nothing that I’m unhappy about. As painless of a process as it could have possibly been.
Pros: Semi broke-in leather glove at time of reception. I spent a few hours workung the leather, put a ball in and tied it off. Repeated the process a couple of times and voila, ready to use!!
Cons: Lacing was a little too loose for my liking. Only took me 5 minutes to tighten up the fingers.
Pros: -Comes very broken in, Can break it in even more so with a little hot glove. -Nice deep pocket great for the outfield and first base. -Looks great and leather smells wonderful reminds me of my little league days -Not expensive
Cons: None can’t beat Rawlings quality. I used to have DeMarini Diablo 14” and Wilson A360 14” and this glove absolutely demolishes both of those gloves in all categories
Pros: Very soft leather and nearly broken in! I was very impressed with the quality of the glove whatever the price. I bought a 14 inch glove and I am looking forward to the time I have it broken in to my liking! The glove was shipped quickly and I was informed of the date of date of shipment..... arrived as promised!
Cons: N/A
Pros: My previous well loved glove was 12 in and couldn't quite handle outfield play. So I ordered the Rawlings P140BPS. When it arrived it was a bit stiff. Not quite game ready. However, it only took a few days and a couple of practices to be fully usable. The pocket is large and well formed. I did need to tighten the laces slightly, but not much. The workmanship is amazing considering the price. I am very satisfied. This glove is highly recommended bps-Great
Cons: Not quite "game ready" on arrival but became so quickly.
Pros: Very good
Cons: none so far
Pros: Very comfortable, the glove broke in very fast
Cons: None
Pros: The leather is less durable than past gloves I have bought, but over all for the money I paid it will get the job done.
Cons: As in just about all industry they figured out how to make all things less durable.
Pros: Almost broken in in two days, love this glove have looked for one like this for past three years
Cons: Have not played in a game with it yet, only practice.
Pros: Rawlings quality.
Cons: The glove doesn't have the red Rawlings logo tag on the outside of the pocket like the picture? Why is that?
Pros: I've used this glove for 2 years now and the glove works to perfection. There was very little break in time and all I do is maintain the glove with cleaning and a quality glove oil. I play he infield and the size gives me the aded range for various infield positions. I strongly recommend this glove.
Cons: No cons.
Pros: Cannot find 14” gloves in store anymore. Reminds me of my old glove I had to get rid of due to severe damage. The smell of real leather is nostalgic. The fit, the basket weave pocket…love it! Can’t wait to break it in properly!
Cons: None.

About the Brand

Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.
The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.
In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.
In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.
The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.
Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
