The Nokona X2 Elite Series (X2-3200) is an average weight. It does not run much heavier or lighter than any other 32.00" catcher's mitts. The most comparable model as far as quality and size would be the All Star Pro Elite Series (CM3000XSBT). The Nokona X2 Elite would not require quite as much break in time as the All Star Pro Elite Series and the weight would be very similar.

The Nokona X2 Elite Series (X2-3200) would be an excellent model for that level of play. It will be high quality and durable but still easy to break-in and sufficiently padded.

The Nokona X2 Elite Series (X2-3200) will feature a 32.00 inch pattern. Additionally, it features the Kangaroo and Stampede leather mix. The Kangaroo leather is very strong and flexible, which gives the 3200 the "game-ready" feel. The Stampede leather is quite a bit heavier and more durable, which will help the mitt keep it's structure long term. The 2015 Nokona Alpha Series (AB-3300) features a 33.00 inch pattern. Additionally, it features the Buffalo and Stampede leather blend. The Buffalo leather is also very strong and flexible, however it is noticeably heavier than the Kangaroo leather. The 3300 will not feel as game-ready and be a little more difficult to break-in.
