What are the differences between this glove and the Buckaroo Series? Which glove is lighter? gosox04
The Nokona X2 Elite Series (X2-1125) will have a lighter feel and break-in much easier compared to the Buckaroo Series. Both leather types are very durable and comfortable. I do see the X2 Elite lasting longer and holding its shape better over time.

What are the key differences between this glove and 11.25" Alpha series? Will both gloves hold their shape? bearsbaseball
The Nokona X2 Elite Series (X2-1125) is made out of Kangaroo and Stampede leathers. This combination of leather gives the X2 Elite a game ready feel. The X2 elite also features Nolera Composite Padding System for added protection. The Alpha series is made out of Buffalo and Stampede leathers. The Alpha series will be a stiffer glove that requires a longer break-in time, and it will feel a little heavier than the X2 Elite. Each model is extremely durable though and will hold its shape for an extended period of time.

My son is a 12 year old travel level third baseman. He has average to small hands. Would the Nokona X2 11.25 be right for him or should he go to a larger glove for third base? He needs a glove that will break in quick since his current glove was lost and he needs one for this season. RGW
The Nokona X2 Elite Series (X2-1125) or the Nokona X2 Elite Series (X2-1175) would both be very good options for your son. The X2 Elite Series offers a very quick break-in period and is a durable long lasting glove.

My son has a Buckaroo 11.00 MT. Is there a service through Nokona to re-lace or tighten laces and, if so, what is the fee and how do I proceed? I am considering buying him an X2 for Christmas but hoping something can be done to tighten his fanned out Buckaroo. 88
Nokona has a warranty on its gloves like the Nokona X2 Elite Series (X2-1125) if they are damaged within a certain time period from the purchase. Even if your glove is out of warranty, they may be able to tell you how to go about getting the glove repaired. Their number is 1-800-433-0957.

The Nokona X2 Elite Series: X2-1125 is an adult infield model. Typically, for a 9 year old middle infielder, I would recommend a glove with an 11.00 inch pattern. This model features an 11.25 inch pattern.

The Nokona X2 Elite Series: X2-1125 is constructed in Texas but we ship from Kansas City, MO. At this time we only have one used LHT option of this glove.

How does this compare size wise to an s200i and an sv1? Is it bigger or the same size with just a higher grade of leather? Blake
The main difference between those models and this Nokona X2 Elite Series: X2-1125 will be the fit on your player's hand. The S200 and SV1 will have smaller wrist openings and shorter finger stalls than this X2-1125.

The Nokona X2 Elite Series: X2-1125 will be both Kangaroo and Steerhide leather. It will be constructed from the top grain stampede steer hide and kangaroo leathers.

The Nokona X2 Elite Series: X2-1125 will have a larger overall fit to it. Based on the ages of the players, we would recommend going with the Nokona Alpha Select Series: S-200I Youth.
