The 2015 Nokona X2 Elite Neon Series (X2-200) Neon Yellow Youth is made out of Stampede and Kangaroo leather. This combination allows for a very high quality glove that does not require any break-in time. The S200 is made out of Buffalo and Stampede leather. This leather is very high quality as well, but it does require a slight break-in time. Both gloves are very high end, but the leather on quality on the X2 is slight higher.

I would say that the 2015 Nokona X2 Elite Neon Series (X2-200) should weigh similarly to the Vinci model if not just a bit heavier but it would not be a huge difference.

My son has an 11 inch A2000 showcase model and the glove took a really long time to break-in. Once it was broken in it had a very shallow pocket. We eventually abandoned it for a lower model glove. How would the quality and break-in time of this compare to the A2000? Bsbl dad

What is the difference between the Alpha Select 200 and X2-200. My 9 year old has the 200 and says it is getting to small in the finger holes. His hands are not large enough for an adult glove. Any suggestions? Joe
The 2016 Nokona X2 Elite Neon Series (X2-200 Neon-Yellow Youth) is constructed from top-grain stampede steerhide and kangaroo leathers while the 2016 Nokona Alpha Select Series (S-200-I Youth) is constructed from buffalo and stampede leathers. I've tried on both gloves and the wrist opening is what feels tight on me. If the finger stalls are feeling tight then I would suggest looking at adult models as the finger stalls in the other youth models will probably fit the same.
