Pros: Don't have this glove but daughter has the fielder x2. The leather in the x2 is soft and almost broken in. However its built TOUGH. This catchers mitt, with the same leather, will be light and ready to go!

What is the difference between a fastpitch and a slow pitch catcher's mitt? I want one of the X2 Elite mitts for my daughter who plays fastpitch, but she likes the pocket better on the slow pitch where she can see the ball in the pocket.

Slow Pitch softball, as we refer to it, involves a high arcing pitch and is most commonly played by older men and women. In Slow Pitch softball, the catchers almost always use a traditional fielding glove instead of a mitt. This Nokona X2 Elite Fastpitch Series (X2F-3250) Catcher's Mitt is designed specifically for fastpitch softball and still offers a large pocket. Nokona produces a slow pitch softball X2 Elite model, but it's a 13.00" fielding glove. We unfortunately do not carry a Nokona fastpitch catcher's mitt that offers the H-Web design that she might like more, but you can find a Banana Tan model on their site through this link: http://nokona.mybigcommerce.com/btf-3250/.

does the x2 elite come in different sizes? not sure what size to get. daughter will be playing in college next year,

The Nokona X2 Elite Fastpitch Series (X2F-3250 Catcher's Mitt) only comes in a 32.50 inch.We recommend a 33.00 inch catchers mitt for the average 18 year old female fastpitch softball player.

The description says quickest break in on the market. I've had a Nokona fastpitch catcher's mitt before that was a lengthy break in. This glove is pricey and I'm concerned about it lasting over time with it coming almost broken in and ready for play. What's your opinion on this?
Patrick
The Nokona X2 Elite Fastpitch Series (X2F-3250) Catcher's Mitt does come nearly game ready so you will not run into the same issue you did with your previous Nokona. With that being said the longevity could be reduced due to it already being broken in. Nokona's are notorious for their excellent quality leather and long life span, so if taken care of properly I see no reason why this glove wouldn't last you for a few good years.

PRICE MATCHGUARANTEE
Yes, JustGloves.com will price match a competitor's listed price!
To do so, we verify some information. If you see an item listed at a lower price elsewhere, this is all we require:
We must verify that the website you want to price match is legitimate and an authorized dealer of the products they sell.
We must confirm that the competitor has the same size and product in stock and ready to ship. If the same size and product is out of stock on the competitor's website, we are unable to match their price.
We must confirm if the competitor charges sales tax and/or shipping fees since these are added to the final price of the product.
Lastly, our Glove Experts must check on the cost we pay to stock the item from the manufacturer. The price match must cover that manufacturer cost for the item.
We have the final decision for matching an online price.
Did you purchase a product from us, but noticed that it is now at a lower price? Please let us know, and we will honor our lowest price within the past 30 days by issuing a refund for the price difference or adjusting the price for you over the phone.
We will notify you as soon as this item comes in stock.
