Pros: This glove is not what I expected. I wanted 2 get a nice infielders mitt for the summer so i heard that nokona has really nice mitts. This is a good glove for a 6-10 yr. old no older. This a a very cheap mitt lots of padding though buy a size up though because they run small.

Cons: Cheap Leather.....

Pros: So far this is the best glove I have ever had. I had a mizuno world win series with a modified trap webbing and thought it was ok. This glove has so much padding it is amazing. The lacing is great. I think this should be a $90 or $100 glove but I have to say this is a great middle infielders glove. Some people say that the color is better online, it is the same this is just one great quality glove. Medium break in time.

Cons: I expected it to be game ready but it still needs some time to break in.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Nokona Khrome Series: NKK1151MT? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is this nokona krome glove any good Hugo
The Khrome is a quality glove for a youth type player, however it will not be Nokonas type of the line glove.
JH
Does it come in 11.75" Jim
Yes we do, this will be the link; http://www.justballgloves.com/product/nokona-khrome-series--nkk1176i/8843/
Brett
is this a softball glove? nokonaboy
This is a baseball glove. This glove will have a small pocket for baseballs. A softball would be to big for this glove.
Brett
Is this an outfielder's glove? AJ99
It depends on the age of the player. For someone older than about 13 it will probably be too small for the outfield. This would be most ideal for an outfielder between 9 and 11 years old.
JH
So for a 13 year old that is 11 year old size it would be good? AJ99
yes, the NKK1151MT is a good glove for that age. It is great all around glove. The modified trap web is a very versatile web design.
Mark
Is this glove good for a 12 year old that plays third base ? Daniko
The average size glove for a 12 year old playing third base ranges from 11.25 to 11.75 inches. This should work well for him.
Brett
I have a 9 yr old with a small hand. We like the nokona line. What is the best one as an all position glove. Any others you can think of in other brands are ok too. Looking for high quality glove that fits a very small hand. Thx. Jon
I would be looking into youth gloves. Those are going to be the best for smaller hands and that age range. I would recommend the Louisville Slugger TPX H2 Lite SL Series. These will be really good glove for someone in that age range and smaller hands.
Brett
im 14 years old and am looking for a cheap glove that will do the job, im a pitcher/3B, does this glove come in 11.75? jj
This specific design is not available in a 11.75 inch model. The closest option would be the Nokona NKK1176I which is a 11.75 inch model with an I-web.
Brett
I am 15 and have a relatively large hand, I play 3rd/Pitch/Short, would this be a good glove for the price? And is this real leather? WaitinForBaseballSeason :(
I would actually go up at least a 1/2inch. The Khrome series is not going to be as high quality leather as some of the other Nokona gloves. It will be easier to break in.

Is this glove made in the USA? ScottDW
This is one of the only lines of Nokona that was made outside the USA, after their factory burned down, they contracted out to help until they resumed production in Texas.

I'm disappointed this glove isn't made in the US, but I know the company makes the majority of them in the US. Is this glove the right size for a 10 year old, 5ft tall boy who will be pitching, playing 3rd base and a little outfield? ScottDW
This is the only line of Nokona gloves that aren't made in the USA. This would be a good size for a 10 year old.
K.B.
does this glove brake in easily baseballboy
Yes, this glove will break in pretty quickly.
lkh
My son is 10 years old and very tall for his age (98th percentile). He plays mostly left field and I'm unsure of the proper size in this glove. Any recommendations? JD
The 11.50 would be a great size for a 10 year old.
K.B.
How much did they cost? tj
Due to the release age of this glove and being that it has been discontinued we no longer have this item in our inventory log. Please refer this question to Nokona. Their number is (800) 433-0957.

I thought that all Nokona gloves were made in the USA. I recently purchased the Nokona Khrome 1151MT glove on eBay. Upon arrival the tag says it was made in Vietnam. It has all the Nocona tags and stitching and appears to be extremely well made. Is this an authentic Nokona glove or a knock off? Bill
All Nokona gloves are made in the USA. This is one of the only lines of Nokona that was made outside the USA, after their factory burned down, they contracted out to help until they resumed production in Texas.
