Glove Benefits
The combination of two proprietary leather types gives this glove a supple feel and also provides strength for durability. SuperSoft steerhide leather is preserved over time using natural processes that help give this glove its flexibility and velvety feel. AmericanKip leather is made using many of the same characteristics as quality Japanese leather, giving the glove both strength and durability. Its 12.5-inch pocket is the ideal size for fastpitch softball players playing either the infield or outfield. Its closed-web pocket is great for pitchers wanting to hide the softball, and also ideal for fielders who need to get the ball out of the pocket faster when transferring from fielding to throwing.

My freshman daughter\pitcher is currently using an of the shelf 12.5 Rawlings and I am torn between the 12&12.5 Nokona. Is that size difference a significant consideration with such a jump in quality/price or just personal preference? john
Why are gloves sizes recommended by age and not the size of the player. My daughter is 11 and going to play 12U next year and is big for her age (5' 4" and 125 lbs). She plays first, outfield and occasionally pitcher. She will be moving to a 12" ball next year and she currently has an Easton PFP1250 12.5" glove that seems to be on the small side for me. Now that she is more interested in continuing in the sport I would like to purchase a better quality glove and want to make sure it lasts for multiple seasons. What would you recommend?
