Pros: Quality leather and construction
Cons: Very Small, not sure why they could not split the difference and make an 11.5 in first base mitt. It has an extremely small pocket. My 10 years olds team bought it for him and are trying to make him use it because they think adult gloves are too big. It’s has a really shallow pocket and balls pop out of it
Questions and Answers
Have a question about the Nokona Alpha 10.5" Youth Baseball First Base Mitt: S-130C? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.
How does the sizing on this glove run? Large, on size , or smaller? My son has tried the Wilson A800 and the Rawlings Renegade both 11.5'. He is 8 about to be 9, and he struggles to control these 11.5' gloves when his fingers are pointed downward. I haven"t found a youth first base glove under 11.5'until I saw this glove. 10.5' seems small for 9 year old but my son has average size hands I would say. Would the nokona bee too small, or does it fit larger than the stated 10.5'? Dad
Would this glove be a good fit and feel for a 8 year old girl, average size, and fit for a couple of years playing fastpitch softball? Or would a larger glove be better? chad
Is this glove available for left hand throw? Roy Boswell
