alright but durablilty is not good Jacob Player
Pros: caught well for about 3 months
Cons: lasted 5 months almost a full travel ball season but the laces were not very good web would be pulled back for every catch.
Laces ripped, in pocket Frank Parent
Pros: Glove is easy to break in and comfortable
Cons: Laces in pocket of glove ripped in pocket of the glove in 1 months time, was able to get a replacement glove only to have it happen again, I do not recommend this glove at all
Great bang for $$ Ballgloveking was right Timothy McGlothlin Parent
Pros: Easy break in, very comfortable, easy to close. Got this for my 10U son. Got it wet, did a little mallet work, and played catch once. It was game ready after that. If your kid is 9-10u and unsure if he will play first for very long, you can’t go wrong with this glove. I can see my son using this glove for a few more years and if he stays playing first, then upgrading to a more durable/expensive option.
Cons: Probably not as durable as other options, but we all know that’s a trade off of being so easy to break in.
Not satisfied Frances MacKenzie Parent
Pros: Receivrd on a timely manner
Cons: Purchased for Grandson's 18th BD. Twice Laseing has snapped. Relaced the 1st time. Then snapped in another part of glove. As needed a glove the very next day. I had to go let him purchase another glove locally at twice the price. I was not aware of your 29.99. Return policy till after i purchased.
NOT FOR HIGH SCHOOL Jackson Player
Pros: Super comfortable and no break in.
Cons: Youth is definitely the correct word for this glove, it didn’t last 1 high school practice without popping a lace
Mizuno Prospect youth 1st baseman mitt. Other
Pros: Came quickly and was probably 65-70% broken in and ready to use. Spent a few minutes on several days with mallet and glove conditioner and it worked great. Grandson is 8 playing travel ball and is well skilled in catching the ball and this mitt works for him now. I was worried it might be too big but he handles it just fine.
Cons: None so far. Let’s see how it does over the season but so far no complaints. It is as advertised in fit for a preteen hand.
Mizuno prospect Jeff Disbrow Parent
Pros: Nice feel, easy to squeeze.
Cons: Have not had long enough to evaluate.
Exceeds expectations Richard Morrison Other
Pros: Well made. Perfect fit for my grand daughter. Easy to break in . While I was expecting a good glove this I was not expecting just how good this is. Truth in advertising is wonderful to experience.
Cons: I have none.
Great glove for the price Andrew Parent
Pros: For the price this is a quality glove. The pigskin leather and Power Close features make it game ready out of the box. We've been cleaning it weekly with a slightly damp cloth, and it is holding up great. Coach said he liked the glove.
Cons: Laces could be better, but are on par with other gloves at this price point. Conditioner helps the laces.
Great Glove! Brian Coach
Pros: Very little break in needed, 9 out of 10 on game readiness
Cons: None yet
Nice Glove Bryan M. Coach
Pros: 11 year old loves it. Good first base mitt for a 9-12 year old. No break-in needed.
Cons: Probably won't last too long.
Good beginner glove but hasn’t held up Allen Parent
Pros: Super easy to break in and a good price (I got it on sale 10 months ago).
Cons: I’ve been disappointed with how this glove has held up. I knew it wouldn’t be a forever glove, of course, but 10 months later we are already looking to replace it.
1st base glove Christopher Tatum Coach
Pros: It feels sturdy. It's not cheap looking. They delivery was fast. It is as described on the site.
Cons: I bought it for my son for his 11th birthday. He is 5' and weighs 103lbs. The only drawback that it really needs to be broken in. It is very stiff out of the packaging. He can barely squeeze it. Just wish it was broken in a little. That's all.
Great glove great service!!!! Dan Coach
Pros: Come slightly broken in but only took a few days to get it broken in rest of the way by wrapping it with ball in it and hitting it with rubber mallet to add extra crease by thumb Bought it for my 7 year old daughter for softball. Was little worried at first about it holding the ball but once broken in works just fine for 11inch ball. I also would throw the ball hard into the webbing to try to give it a bit of a deeper pocket. Great starter glove for the price
Cons: Slightly heavy for my 7 year old just not many youth 1st base gloves out there. Lace in the webbing will probably break after a season or to almost seems like plastic not leather. It is leather just a hard leather not soft
GREAT COPANY,GREAT PRODUCT MIKE Other
Pros: DELIVERED QUICKLY AND EXACTLY AS DISPLAYED AT A TRULY GOOD PRICE. MY 10 YEAR OLD SELECT FAST PITCH FIRST BASEMAN SAYS IT FITS LIKE A GLOVE AND CLOSES ON THE BALL ALMOST AUTOMATICALLY WITHIN 10 DAYS SHE WAS ABLE TO TRANSITION TO THIS GLOVE FROM HER WELL BROKEN IN GLOVE AND IS USING IT EXCLUSIVELY IN TOURNAMENT PLAY. GREAT YOUTH GLOVE, AND A GREAT JOB JUST BALL GLOVES.
Cons: HAVEN'T FOUND ANY YET, BUT I WILL SURE LET YOU KNOW IF IT CHANGES
Break through Brada geez Coach
Pros: Break in was easy for my 9 year old boy. His confidence at 1st base is sky high now. Great glove he loves it.
Cons: Nothing yet but seems like a glove that will only last 1 maybe 2 seasons tops. But only time will tell.
RJ
Pros: Really nice youth glove, was easy to break in!
Cons:
Great Youth First Base Mitt Rich V. parent
Pros: Super soft leather. Just about broken in upon arrival. My son was using it in first practice after we just played some good hard catch.
Cons: None so far.
Son loves this glove L Long parent
Pros: Don't usually buy something like this, where fit is so important, off the internet but the 100 day return policy and free shipping both ways made it a no brainer. My 11 year old son loved this glove right out of the box. He used it, with very little break in time, in his last 2 games of fall ball.
Cons: none so far
Great Glove! JP coach
Pros: Like all Mizuno youth gloves that feature the power close technology, it was game ready from day 1. My 7 year old loves this glove and has already made some awesome plays at first this Fall that he probably couldn't have made with his basic mitt. Good quality and good performance. I give this glove and A+!
Cons: I should have ordered it sooner!
This glove Anonymous player
