Pros: Excellent. My 14 year old son has now used this glove for 3 months. Leather is very similar to an A2000, but lighter and more comfortable. Holds its shape well. Would recommend.

Cons: None.

Pros: Very shallow pocket which makes for a quick release. Love the T-Web. Great color. I have a pro preffered, a2000, and a primo, and this is the best glove out of all of them.

Cons: Long break in. Gets a little floppy.

Just got this glove for my son. Worked well right away. Still need some breakin but not much. What do you recommend? Should we keep a ball in pocket and wrap it. Or just set ball or two in at night and keep playing catch. So far great glove. VJ
I recommend our Glove Resource Guide. It's a great tool: http://www.justballgloves.com/glove-resource-guide/breaking-in-a-glove/

Can this glove be used for infield fastpitch softball or is it Baseball specific? 1pop
The Mizuno Global Elite Series: GGE61 is designed with baseball in mind and will have a smaller pocket than an 11.5" fastpitch glove. However, there is nothing that says it cannot be used in softball.
Tyler
Would the gge60 or the gge61 be better for third base? Jared
The Mizuno Global Elite Series: GGE61 and the GGE60 are the same gloves. The only difference is in the webs. Both of these gloves are good for a third baseman.

How does this glove compare to the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft 11.75 inch glove? Which glove will be more durable and have higher leather quality? Evan
The Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE61) will be a slightly higher quality glove with better durability than the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series (GCP54S). The Classic Pro Soft would be a bit more game ready and require less break-in.
Patrick
What is the difference between the Mizuno Global Elite series and the Mizuno Global Elite VOP series? John
The Mizuno Global Elite VOP Series (GGE61VAX) has a leather treatment that is slightly different than the Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE61). VOP stands for Vibration Oil Process. This is unique conditioning treatment that creates soft, yet extremely durable leather. The regular Global Elite Series uses E-lite leather which is light and soft as well but will not be as easy to break-in.

There isn't too much of a difference between the two models, except for the leather. The Mizuno Global Elite VOP Series (GGE61V) has a leather treatment that is slightly different than the Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE61). VOP stands for Vibration Oil Process. This is unique conditioning treatment that creates soft, yet extremely durable leather. Chinyere
Is the pocket of this glove too shallow for a high school level fastpitch middle infielder or third baseman? fastpitch17
The Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE61) has an 11.50" pattern and is designed for baseball. It really comes down to personal preference, but the pocket will be fairly shallow for the majority of softball players.
Jason
Which glove would prefer, this one or an A2000 Dustin Pedroia game spec? Cam
If you have a small hand, the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove (A20RB15DP15GM) would make a better fit for you. If you have average or large hands, the Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE61) would be the better choice.
