Pros: Very lightweight and easy to catch with glove when used as a basket.

Cons: The large bulge from the deep pocket can make it difficult to field grounders.

My 10yrs old son has a very small hand and needs a 10.5inch glove but is playing 10u competive travels ball so the glove needs to be able to handle competive play??!! fran

For the price range, this will be a good quality glove. If you want a glove that's made from a slightly higher quality of leather, I would recommend looking at the Vinci BRV1957 or Reebok VRPNT1050.
