Lightweight, breathable, and comfortable - That's what the new Easton Salvo Softball gloves provide for the slow pitch player. Constructed from an Oil-Tanned U.S. Steerhide leather shell, Salvo gloves are soft-tumbled for a game-ready feel. Easton has added a Dura Mesh Back to these gloves to give them a lightweight, balanced feel along with added breathability. Bio-Dri moisture management fabric is also added to the finger stalls in order to wick away sweat to keep your glove dry and light. Also inside, a VRS Palm Pad helps to disperse the impact of the ball to keep your hand free from sting. The Salvo Series makes it easy to catch balls in the web, as the palm leather is enlarged with an additional segment between the index and middle finger, creating what Easton calls the Double Deep Pocket. Pros: A large glove, great for slow-pitch outfield. I play left field and sometimes shortstop. Too big for shortstop, but spectacular for the outfield. Does not require much break-in, and doesn't feel any larger than my 14-inch glove. I'm partial to an H-Web because it helps when the sun is directly in your eyes. Overall quality is great for the price. The nylon mesh back helps keep the weight down.

Pros: Easy break-in for such a large glove. I have a 14-inch and this 15-inch, both with H-web. I play Left-Center on slow pitch softball and prefer the H-web when the sun is directly in the eyes. The glove feels confortable on the hand. Use it only for pick-up games now, but will probably move from my 14-inch glove once it is fully broken in.

This 15'' glove is shown as right handed model, however when I tried to order only the left handed thrower model box was available. Does it come in a right handed thrower model? John

The Easton Salvo Softball Series (SVS15) was manufactured in both a right handed and left handed thrower. Currently, we are out of stock in the right handed thrower, but we are scheduled to get more.
