The heel of the glove has been widened and this will allow the glove to have a more spacious opening to receive the softball into the glove. And once the softball enters the glove, it will be able to sit nicely in the giant pocket created for a softball.
And to make things even better, Easton has equipped this glove's shell with their Premium Reserve USA steerhide. This will give it excellent shape and ensure that it holds up for many seasons.
