Lauren hit 95 home runs in her career (an NCAA record) as a member of the Oklahoma Sooners softball team. However, she could pick it over at first base as well! This Easton mitt celebrates her prowess on the infield!
Glove Benefits
This mitt is made in a 12.5-inch length which will give it plenty of length to swipe any errant throws that come your way at first base. As well, the glove is going to have Easton's Premium Reserve steer hide leather on the shell of the mitt (catching surface and backing). That material should be able to hold up to the demands of even the most demanding fastpitch schedules.
In addition to having great quality leather on the shell, this Easton mitt is also built to be extremely comfortable for a lady's glove hand. The inside of the glove is made with cowhide palm leather that should allow for a soft feel when a lady puts their hand in it. As well, the player's back of their wrist will be in contact with Easton's Ax Suede wrist liner that is breathable and water-resistant! Both of these features should combine together to make it very enjoyable to wear this mitt over at 1B.

How soft is this glove? I have a 14u travel ball player making the move to first. Will this glove take forever to break in? I plan on paying for the break in service but the A2000 catchers mitt I bought for my other daughter just won’t break in! Brendan
