Pros: It just feels right. Nothing cheap about it. No pleather and very strong lacing. Was a little hard to break in, but not too bad

Cons: Pocket could be deeper. My daughter is having a little bit of a hard time closing before the ball pops out.

Pros: nice glove, made to last nothing cheap about it my daughter loves it

Cons: hard to break in, we baked it, oiled it and had it steamed and beaten and still side are stiff, my daughter has a hard time with the ball popping out when catching

Pros: My daughter was excited to get this mitt. She loves All Star and wanted the catchers mitt to go with her All Star catchers gear. The mitt is very well constructed. It feels good on your hand. She is in 14U and up until now has just used her regular glove, but with fastpitch, her hand would get a little sore. You definitely do not have to worry about that with this mitt. It is good and thick.

Cons: The only con with this mitt is that we thought that "game ready" meant game ready... It actually took some breaking in and she has actually started using a Nokona mitt instead because she could not get this one broken in good. We tried steaming, oil, wraps, etc.... she slept with it under her mattress, yet it still did not break in well.

Unfortunately, all fastpitch mitts are designed to fit a smaller hand. I recommend a 13" baseball first base mitt. That's what my father always used when catching my sister from youth through High School.

I have read the reviews and "Break In Time" seems to be a recurring issue. My daughter is a 1st year 12U player (07). She needs a new glove badly, but we don't have all season to break a new glove in. What are some suggestions for a faster break in on this glove? Shawn
