Pros: great catchers mitt good padding and quick break in period soft leather
Cons: nothing wrong with this glove
jacob
Pros: great glove, quick break in. I have a rawlings heart of the hide catchers mitt, and the allstar blows it away. Forms a great pocket and the ball sticks great; much better than the 2 year old rawlings!
Cons: none yet
AllStar4Life
Pros: I used this glove for 4 years from the age of 12 to 16, being an all state catcher on the smaller side hand wise. It has stood up to 90mph like a breeze. When they say this glove has a long life they mean it. It was my only glove for that time and it only wore out because one rain game it got mold inside that I could not clean. Only needed to oil it twice for the whole time I had it. I will be purchasing a new one ASAP. Oh and if anyone is wondering the net stays stiff like nobody's business. Highly adjustable for a catchers mitt.
Cons: Clay sands stick to the thumb piece needs a thick brush to get off. Cleats work just as well

Pros: Looks good, feels good. Not a bad glove for $60(they raised the price right after I bought mine). Very pleased for just throwing around the house and warming up the kids.
Cons: Just a tad stiff.

Pros: This mitt was great for the price. It has good padding and broke in easily.

White Lightning
Pros: Great quality for the price, very comfortable and super, high end look. Helped my son handle balls much better behind the plate. Nicely padded and well constructed. We will have this glove for a long time. Not really a con, but high quality leather is stiff when new so plan some time to get it broken in! Took 4-5 games and plenty of catch to get it working right!! Now its awesome.
Cons: None
Dan
Pros: Got this glove to catch my 14 year old son. Hard to find a quality left handed throwing mitt but this one defiantly fits the bill. I looked up ways so soften it up and decided to go with what I always use on a glove which is mink oil. Some say that will make it heavier and it didn't at all. It did soften it some but went out and used it today and loved it. He started to throw hard and I never felt a thing. Still a little stiff but I can tell that will go away shortly. Can't say enough about this glove.
Cons: Can't find any this is a quality mitt!!
Coach Jim
Pros: Quality leather lacing and webbing. Well built with appropriate padding and hinge locations. This is a fine glove for the intermediate user. Break in time was short about 3 weeks of periodic catching. Great price it's well worth the $69.99 I paid.
Cons: Made in the Philippines not in USA.
Kyle
Pros: Nice price, great look and good fit.
Cons: Would say it is NOT easily broken in as it has been used every day since received ( 3 weeks ), used some glove oil, put it in the oven, even drive the car over it. Still not game ready.

how would this glove compare to the a2000 gloves? i know allstar is an excellent brand and they specialize in catchers equipment...so would this compare to a2000 or will wilsons glove blow this one away... thinton3344
My son is 15, but he has a small hand. He catches part time for his High school and his travel team. We have always used Mizuno Catchers Mitts, but their padding seems to be too light for high school (70,80 mph) and the adult gloves seem too big for his hands. So how does this glove or the 3100 pro series stack up against the Mizuno ( now my son is 5' 6 and 140lbs if that helps). Please let me know what you think, since none of the kids we know own a Allstar Catchers Mitt. Thanks Bill Bigmac
Will this glove fit a 12 year old with large hands? eric cohen
Does this come in 34 inch? Jackie
I am left handed, and I looking for a catchers mitt to use to catch my son. He is 11 now and throwing harder very day. I need more padding to catch him. My hand is not overly large. I would prefer a glove that is not too stiff. Is this a good glove and a good size? What else should I look at? Coach H
I have a son and 2 daughters. I was wondering if I could use this to catch my daughter's fastpitch softball, as well as my son's baseball pitching? Gatorcade
