The Wilson 1724 pattern gloves are the next big thing when it comes to Wilson infielder gloves! The 1724 perfectly equips an infielder handling either the shortstop or third base positions as it features an 11.75" length. Furthermore, this glove compliments players that wish to wear their pinky and ring finger in the pinky slot of the glove. This Wilson pattern perfectly accomodates this manner of wear by allowing for 3 modifications of the glove:

Wrist strap is adjusted to ensure that the knuckles of the glove-hand are completely and comfortably covered while wearing the glove with the pinky and ring fingers in the pinky slot.
Excess material is removed from the pinky slot to allow the player's pinky finger to rest on the very edge of the glove. This improves leverage when closing the glove.
The index finger slot of the glove is completely removed since the player using this glove won't be placing their index finger in that slot while wearing it.
