Pros: I coach 7u all stars and this glove helped my son and several players learn how to catch back hand. Entry level gloves have small pockets and this model allows the ball to stay deep in the pocket and close on the very first attempt. Was game ready after no more than 5 catch sessions. Perfect glove for the serious youth player ages 6 and up.
Cons: Leather is extremely soft the longevity of it probably won't equal that of an a2k but if you need a solid glove to be ready fast then this your mitt.

About the Brand
A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
