Only the Top 5% of Wilson's Pro Stock Leather Become A2K Gloves
Quality Craftsman Shaping
Extra Palm Padding
Description
Right when you thought the A2K couldn't get any better, Wilson has outdone themselves again. The new series of A2K gloves are some of the highest quality ball gloves ever produced. Using only the top 5% of their natural Pro Stock leather ensures that only the most perfect hides become an A2K. Ball players typically say the two most important features in a glove are softness and durability. That is why with the A2K series, Wilson's craftsmen spent 3x longer shaping, pounding and stretching this glove than any other glove they produce. The result is a natural softness that doesn't come from chemicals or substandard materials, but rather from time and care. This creates a glove that is softer off the shelf and takes less time to hold your custom break-in. These gloves feature Dual-Welting on the fingers which creates a pre-curved finger design resulting in a more durable and stable pocket. The new A2K design also features Wilson's Dri-Lex ultra-breathable wrist lining which transfers moisture from the skin, keeping your hand cool, dry and comfortable. Wilson truly has crafted a glove that is absolutely flawless in every aspect. Wilson: The Official Ball Glove of Major League Baseball. Free Shipping!

Pros: A2K leather is the best, hands down. Wilson has superior infield and outfield gloves.
Cons: I owned the first generation "Pudge" catchers mitt and it was the best. I bought 2 Pudege A2K catcher mitts for my high school team and I am not pleased with the change. Idk if I'm the only one with this problem, but even after the glove has been broken in, I'm finding issues with the ball popping or just "ejecting" our of the pocket. Is there something I'm not doing right? The gloves have been broke in properly. All I know is the first PUDGE I owned, aka "The A2403" from like 1998-99, did not do this and I NEVER had this issue. I'd love for someone to fill me on something i'm missing. Thanks

If the only thing holding me back is the price on this model, what would be the closest thing to it? College catcher needing to replace an earlier A2000.

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.

PRICE MATCHGUARANTEE
Yes, JustGloves.com will price match a competitor's listed price!
To do so, we verify some information. If you see an item listed at a lower price elsewhere, this is all we require:
We must verify that the website you want to price match is legitimate and an authorized dealer of the products they sell.
We must confirm that the competitor has the same size and product in stock and ready to ship. If the same size and product is out of stock on the competitor's website, we are unable to match their price.
We must confirm if the competitor charges sales tax and/or shipping fees since these are added to the final price of the product.
Lastly, our Glove Experts must check on the cost we pay to stock the item from the manufacturer. The price match must cover that manufacturer cost for the item.
We have the final decision for matching an online price.
Did you purchase a product from us, but noticed that it is now at a lower price? Please let us know, and we will honor our lowest price within the past 30 days by issuing a refund for the price difference or adjusting the price for you over the phone.

(3) - Work it into the web, palm, laces, inside of the glove, & any other area that has become dry or is starting to crack. (4) - When finished, place your glove in a warm, dry area (70 - 90 F) & allow the leather to absorb the conditioner for 24 hrs.
