The combo of excellent leather + extra shaping gives you a glove that should deliver long-lasting structure and really shouldn’t require a terribly long break-in process (especially when you consider how stiff top-quality leather can sometimes be).
This B2 model will be the bonafide pitcher glove available on the market. The 12" length gives it the ability to hide a pitcher's throwing hand PLUS their wrist inside the glove as the pitch is being gripped (thus hiding the wrist from the batter's view). At the same time, the closed webbing will prevent hitters from peering through the web to see what pitches the fingers may be gripping. Essentially, a pitcher that is using the B2 only needs to worry about rocking back to hum fastballs and bend breakers past batter's barrels.
