Pro Outfield Pattern
Dri-Lex Wrist Lining - Ultra-Breathable, Moisture Wicking Material
Description
Since its introduction in 1957, the Wilson A2000 has set the standard for premium ball gloves. With over 55 years of game changing performance, the A2000 only continues to get better and is still one of the most popular glove choices among baseball's top athletes. The A2000 is made from American Pro Stock Steerhide Leather that is hand selected for its rugged durability. Inside the glove, you've got an extremely comfortably Dri-Lex Wrist Lining. Dri-Lex Technology is an ultra-breathable material that transfers moisture away from the skin, keeping your hand cool and dry. Each A2000 model also features patented Dual-Welting that creates a pre-curved finger design to help maintain the most stable and durable pocket possible. With this particular glove, Wilson has replaced some of the leather on the back of the shell with their proprietary SuperSkin material. SuperSkin further reduces the gloves break-in time, repels moisture and dirt, and is actually 2X stronger and lighter than leather. Unmatched in their feel and performance, all A2000 patterns are endlessly field tested and constantly improved by the hundreds the professionals and top amateur players that choose only Wilson Ball Gloves.
The Wilson A2000 Superskin Series Baseball Glove: WTA20RB16OT6SS features a 12.75" pattern size, Six Finger Trap Web, and is one of Wilson's most-popular patterns for professional outfielders. Pros: It's an A2000, good pattern for an outfield glove, decent break-in time, feels bulletproof and I expect it to last a long time.
Cons: I know it's an outfield glove, but I was still a bit surprised at how heavy it felt (thought I didn't weigh it)—especially given that it's SuperSkin. Could just be me though. It also felt a little big for a 12.75, which surprised me because Wilson's infield gloves seem to run small(er than Rawlings).

What's the difference between this glove and the A2016OT6?
big tyne Aj
This 2016 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series Baseball Glove (WTA20RB16OT6SS) will be nearly exact to the 2016 Wilson A2000 Series (A2016OT6). The difference will be the cosmetics of the mitts and also that this WTA20RB16OT6SS has SuperSkin backing on it. Besides that, the two gloves should be the exact same.
Ben
Could I use this for an infield softball glove? I usually use a A500 12.50 inch. I recently ordered a Mizuno 11.75 inch and it was way too small. Just looking for a high quality glove with right fit!
Matthew
The Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series Baseball Glove: WTA20RB16OT6SS could certainly be used for softball if one is comfortable with the break in point and pocket depth of the glove (12.75 OF baseball gloves will feature a deep pocket). Baseball gloves will have some differences when compared to a fastpitch softball glove, the wrist opening and fit on the hand being one of them. The quality of this Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series Baseball Glove: WTA20RB16OT6SS will certainly satisfy a player as the A2000 lineup features quality leather construction.
A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
