Description
Wilson A2000 Spin Control V125 12.5" Fastpitch Softball Glove: WBW100222125
At first glance, this glove looks just like a fastpitch pitcher's glove should look. But if you are flexible, this glove could be used at other positions on the fastpitch diamond as well!
Glove Benefits
This A2000 features the closed, Victory web from Wilson. As well, it has the awesome Pro Stock leather that has made the A2000 line legendary for over 60 years.
The 12.5" length will work well in the outfield in addition to the pitcher's circle. However, if you rove between the infield and outfield (or just want a larger glove for infield) this could be one to purchase. In fastpitch with the larger ball (when compared to a baseball), you can get away with a little larger glove length as it shouldn't hamper your transfer time all that much.
Lastly, be sure you take note of the new Spin Control technology. The catching surface of this fastpitch glove is covered with hundreds of dimples. These dimples create more friction on the ball as it enters the glove and makes it less likely that a softball can spin out while making a catch! This is definitely a feature that is beneficial at any position on the field.

Pros: So well built, re enforced palm, leather feels exellent after break in. My daughter caught a rocket in the palm of the glove and it didn't phase her. She in 12U and has medium frame build . Quick adjustable wrist strap makes it to where she can keep it firmly on her hand. She loves it. Break in was not all that bad if you have the right method and tools, took about 24hrs. But we'll worth it for the quality of leather it is. 150° water 5lb dumbell and 150 balls out of the pitching machine at 45mph and bingo! Pocket formed perfectly. For what you get out of this glove, so worth the money. Will get many years out of this glove I'm sure.
Cons: A little heavy at first but she got use to it pretty quick.
Pros: Like how stiff the glove is broke in great with the pitching machine it’s stiff in the right places
Cons: No down side at all I think the Wilson a2000 best glove you can get
Pros: Great quality, solid, snug fit
Cons: Just needs to be broken in, but not really a con.
