My favorite player is Puig and since I am looking for a new glove I thought maybe I should get one based off of his. Yet, I am 13 and this would be for highly recreational use. Is this the right glove for me?

The Wilson A2000 Series Yasiel Puig Model (YP66GM) would be the closest available model to the glove used by Yasiel Puig. The A2000 would be considered a higher end glove so if you are just using it for recreational use it may be a bit tough to break in and make it game ready. Stiffer leather like what is used on the A2000 is tough to break-in but very durable so it is made for more extensive use.

With that said, the best glove to get for someone with small hands, if you are referring to an OF glove, then a smaller inch pattern would be an option (12.50 or 12.00 inch pattern) or finding a Wilson model that features the Dustin Pedroia fit (smaller wrist opening and tighter finger stalls).

The Wilson A2000 Series Yasiel Puig Model: A2015YP66GM is technically a baseball glove but since it features a 12.75 inch pattern it may be used for fastpitch softball. The main problem with using this for fastpitch softball is that the hand opening and finger stalls are geared for a male's hand so it may be a tad too large. I have included a link below to the Wilson A2000 Series: WTA20RF151275SS Fastpitch which is identical in size, very similar in quality, and meant for fastpitch softball.
