The Pro Stock Kip Leather is lightweight leather made up of a compact grain structure providing shorter break-in time and unmatched durability. Top grade Kip Leather is long prized by Major League players for its comfort and consistent performance. This A2000 Kip glove also offers the new Dri-Lex technology. Pros: real nice glove, outstanding quality, easy break in period

Cons: dial that tightens glove is good for my 14 yr old son, but as he growes glove will be too tight at wrist, not enough ajustment , already dialed as loose as it can and he has skinny wrists!

old but young

Pros: First glove I've ever owned that I had no issues with, and I've been playing since 1978. Super light, dial fit system is great and the leather is high end. Short break-in time yet the leather isn't too soft and floppy. Great for both baseball and softball. A fantastic glove.

Cons: Expensive, but I got over that quickly.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson A2000 Series: A2K 1955B? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

My son plays H.S. ball. he is a pitcher and has a 11.5" A200. His coach wants him to play some outfield. Is his glove too small? What size should he use? 12", 12.5" ? Thanks Harrison
Most outfielders will tend to use a 12.5". Players who spend time in both the infield and outfield will tend to use a 12" model because it is a great all around size.

About the Brand

A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.

Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
