Pros: This glove is nothing fancy, but it has great shape and good leather. It is also light weight for a quality mitt. You can catch the ball in the pocket without hurting your hand. It is a great mitt after you break it in.

Cons: Like all quality gloves it has a long break in time. Allow 6 months of average use before it will be ready for game.

The sizing for a 13 year old catcher is 32". Since he will be 14 soon, the 32.50" Wilson A2000 Series: A2403 PUDGE Catcher's Mitt should be a great fit. This glove is a high quality glove. Made from hand selected Pro Stock American Steerhide leather.

My catcher's mitt was stolen from practice a few days ago, and our first game is in a little over three weeks. So what is a glove that will break-in fast? I also have small hands so what size would be best for a small handed high school catcher? The Rage
Take a look our Shoeless Joe Professional Series: 3200CM Catcher's Mitt. These fit smaller hands very well and they are pretty much game ready.
Noah
My son is 12 will he be able to use this glove as he gets to high school or is it to small? Mike
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2403 PUDGE Catcher's Mitt might be a little too small for your son you might try going with a 33.00" or A 33.50" glove.
Noah

You answered one question (by Mike) stating 32.50" might be too small for a 12 year old. Then answered another (by 12345) stating 32.50" would be a great fit for a 13/14 year old. Which is it? Augie
The size of the Wilson A2000 Series (A2403 PUDGE Catcher's Mitt) will be 32.50". The average size mitt recommended for a 12 year old is 32". The PUDGE may be slightly big, but would definitely work for the player and allow room for growth as well.
Brandon
What's the difference between the A2403 and A2404? Curtie
The Wilson A2404 look to be a vintage glove. When comparing this glove to the Wilson A2000 Series: A2403 PUDGE Catcher's Mitt, the Pudge model will be small and will feature a higher quality of pro stock American steerhide leather. The padding will also be less in the Pudge model.
