Pros: The quality of this glove is almost comparable to the Rawlings Heart of the Hide. It's worth the money. Oil spot doesn't effect the gloves performance.

Cons: Extremely too big for infield. If you get moved around a lot, make sure you want an outfield model.

Pros: Price, game ready out of the box

Cons: Game ready, and what I mean by that is it was to soft, making it so hard to shape to my personal preferences. The leather quality isn't the best, but you get what you pay for.

Pros: Glove is top of the line. Feels great on my hand. Even better once is breaks in. Can't beat the price for an A2000. Blemish is nothing. What a steal. Got it for slowpitch softball. Will definitely be big enough. Get it while you can.

Cons: Wish it could hit for me.

Pros: This glove has worked well so far for me this off season. The blem is nothing at all. I am going to try to work it out more today.

Cons: None. The web is not my favorite, but can live with that.

Pros: Overall, a great glove for the bargain. Virtually game ready when I got it. Took me about a week to get it the way I like. Still has work to have done forming the pocket.

Cons: Poor quality leather. The A2000 used to be like the Pro Preferred and older Heart of the Hides. It's like a gold glove now. No padding, hard to shape.

Pros: real nice leather and nice fit. It should last a long time. The cosmetic blem was minimal (the picture looks worse) and will blend in eventually.

Cons: will take a bit to break in but is breaking in nicely.

Pros: Fairly soft, easy to break in. Blemish isn't very visible once it is all oiled. Much better price than the non-blemish.

Cons: The one shipped to me had black ball point pen ink marks on several of the finger tips right out of the box. They are small, so not real visible-but not listed in the description. I can't imagine paying full price for this glove-the quality just isn't what I thought it would be. I am a grown man with a large hand and this glove is quite loose. I am not fully satisfied, but at least it was bought at a discount.

Pros: What a deal! Wilson has been putting pocket grease on the palms of A2000's for years. I am not sure why it's considered a blem now. Anyways I am not complaining and mine was barely visible. I have owned dozens of pro-level gloves over the years and I can honest say that their is still nothing like an A2000. I am considering picking up another one before they are gone.

Cons: None

Pros: Couldnt believe it when I got it, I am a college baseball player from PA and play Centerfield, I got the glove and it was love at first sight...the "blem" is practically the size of a golf ball as another review said but also the glove came semi-broken in unlike most pro stiff A2000's I used the glove 3 days and it was ready to go for my games the first weekend after purchase...all i have to say is thank you just ball gloves!

Cons: Red dot on the inside of the glove where you put your hand indicating its a "blem" but who cares? nobody sees it anyway

Pros: Great glove for the price. Cosmetic blemish is really inconsequential and doesn't appear it will affect wear. Same glove without the blemish is $219 at Dicks.

Cons: None so far

Pros: THE GLOVE IS TOP OF THE LINE. IF YOU ARE A OUTFIELDER THIS IS THE GLOVE FOR YOU.MY SON PLAYS INFIELDER BUT THE PRICE IS TO GOOD TO PASS UP.WE GOT THE FIRST ONE JUST TO ORDER ONE MORE.

Cons: IT TAKE A LITTLE BIT LONGER TO BREAK IN.

Pros: The blemish is a joke. Besides, you're the only one who's going to look in the glove. This thing was practically ready to use right out of the box! Nice soft leather. Rub it down with a little Vasaline and you're good to go! No excuses on dropped balls now.

Cons: I'll let you know after I drop a ball.

Pros: Outstanding Price for this glove. Oil spot is minimal. This is, in baseball running terms, a steal. You cannot get this deal anywhere else. Also, this glove will be easy to break in. I was already shaping the glove right out of the box very easily. This A2000 is A Outstanding.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Pros: I have owned A2000's all of my life. When I saw this deal I could not believe it. I ordered 2 even though I just bought 2 new gloves for my 8 and 11 year olds. Both play Middle infield, but one day may play outfield and this glove will be perfect. "The Blem" ??? You have to be kidding me.....I can't even make it out on the one and the other the stain is very light. Once oiled it will never be seen. For the price of this glove you would be crazy to pass it up. The cheapest I could find it for is $209.00

Cons: Not a fan of the Web, but can live with it. Leather is not as nice as my 30+ yr old other A2000's. Compared to the new Rawlings PROS15ICB I bought my son for his birthday, this glove feels and looks much cheaper, and it is.

Pros: All I can say is wow! When I saw an A2000 for under $100 I couldnt believe it. There is a small oil spot in the palm, about the size of a golf ball. Just dark and discolored, nothing wrong structurally. This is far and away the best deal I have seen in a long time. Great glove, great price, and the "blemish" is barely anything

Cons: In the palm there is an oil spot about the size of a golf ball. Looks darker than the other leather. After oiling the glove almost went away.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL *Cosmetic Blem*? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

What is wrong with these? What condition are these in? jacob
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL *Cosmetic Blem* has a small oil spot on the palm of the glove and some have a red marker dot inside near the wrist area. There are no other blemishes on the glove. You can now see these blemishes in the picture above.
Kara
Is there a picture of the defect that I could see? Traveo
The picture has been updated to show the oil mark. This picture is of one of the gloves most affected by the oil spot. The oil spots on most of the gloves in stock are not as prominent.
Patrick
Will you be getting any of these gloves for left handed throwers? Joe
No. We will not be getting any of these for left handed throwers.
Damon
Will there be other A2000's with cosmetic blems for sale? a2000
At this time, the only cosmetic blem that we are carrying is the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL.
Nick
How many are available? P-doug
As of 8/21/2012, we have multiple quantities in stock. Please feel free to give our customer service a call @ 1-866-321-4568 for more information.
Patrick
Does the cosmetic blemish effect the functionality of the glove itself? Ethan
The cosmetic blemish on the Wilson A2000 Series will not change the functionality of the glove. The glove is brand new. The only issue is the oil spot on the palm of glove.
Kara
Is this a softball or baseball glove? lauriemarvin
The Wilson A2000 Series is a baseball glove.
Kara
Has anyone used this glove? dylan
The Wilson A2000 Series has not been used. It is brand new, but there is a small oil spot on the palm of the glove.
Kara
If this glove doesen't fit correctly can we still return it for a exchange or replacement? mgtesta23
Absolutely! This is a brand new glove. It just has an oil spot on the palm. It is still covered by the 100 day guarantee.
Damon
How many are left as of 8/27/12? keegs
We have a large quantity of the Wilson KP92BL's remaining.
Tom
How do you have so many gloves with the same oil spot? keegs
The oil spots on these gloves were from a manufacturing error that effected an entire batch of A2000 KP92BL gloves.
Tyler
Is the pocket in this glove big enough to use playing slow-pitch softball? Justin
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL is a 12.5" glove with a slightly deeper than average pocket for a 12.5" baseball glove. I think it would make an excellent infielders glove in slow pitch softball.
Tyler
How big is the blemish? Does it affect the glove at all? Jack
Please reference the website image for the approximate size of the blemish. This is just an oil stain. Stains do not effect the performance of a glove.
Tyler
Does this glove have a "Blem" label burned into the glove leather anywhere on the glove? Dennis T.
No, it does not have blem label burned in the glove. It does have a pink dot that is on the inside of the palm which is visible on our website.
Tom
Some on said after oiling the glove the stain almost went away. Is this true and does it/ will it ever go away? T
It probably appeared that way because the addition of oil to any glove will make the leather a little darker. When that individual applied oil to the entire glove, it probably just darkened the leather that was previously unaffected by the oil stain.
Tyler
Is this glove broken in? TJ
The Wilson A2000 Series will require a lot of break in still.
Noah
I currently use an old 12" baseball glove for slow-pitch softball, I bought a 14" softball glove that I hate (feels too big), would this glove work for me? Scott
A 13" glove is the most common size for a slow pitch softball player. The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL is a 12.5" glove that is most commonly used by baseball outfielders, but it has a deep enough pocket to accommodate a softball and would be a great option.
Tyler
How many of these do you have in stock? Josh
We have a large quantity of the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL "Cosmetic Blem" gloves.
Kara
Why does this blemish affect the price so much? rolo
This particular Wilson A2000 was deemed a cosmetic blem from the factory. There is a small oil spot in the palm of the glove. The construction and durability of the glove has not been compromised.
Brandon
I realize this is a great deal, but I currently use a Nokona 13.00 model for outfield in softball. Is this A2000 comparable size wise to my Nokona? Mike5
The Wilson A2000 Series is designed for baseball. The pocket is not designed for a softball like the Nokona glove. However, Nokona gloves do run smaller, so the size would be similar.
Kara
This is an amazing deal, and I was wondering do you have any other "cosmetic blem" gloves in stock? If not its not that big of a deal because I'll probably end up buying this one anyway. Joe90
At this time, we do not have any other gloves with cosmetic blemishes.
Tyler
How about a lefty throw A200 blem? Size 12 please. JB
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL *Cosmetic Blem* will only be available in a right hand thrower, 12.50".
Kara
A couple of questions:Is this from the same batch of blem KP92's that were sold a few months ago? Is the oil stain the only blem on the glove?(no rips/tears, mis-prints, bad stitching, etc.)and also, what are the colors is the MLB logo on the back of the pinkie stall? ayhar
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL Cosmetic Blem gloves are the same as the last batch. The oil stain is the only blemish. The MLB logo is red, white and blue.
Tyler
Would this glove work for and outfielder in slowpitch softball? favious33
Yes, this Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL *Cosmetic Blem* 12.50" glove could work for outfield softball use. Typically, I see a lot of 12.75"-13" outfield glove sizes used for slow pitch. The Pro Stock leather on this glove will be some of the highest quality that Wilson uses.
Brandon
Does the oil mark in the middle affect the gloves durability in any way? Fritchman34
The cosmetic blemish does not in any way diminish the performance of the glove in any way.
Jeff
I was thinking of buying this glove, but I wanted to know if any part of the inside of the glove has been affected by the cosmetic blemish. Will the glove feel any different on the inside with it? Dan
The oil stain on the palm of the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL *Cosmetic Blem* did not affect the inside of the glove. It feels the same as a Wilson glove that doesn't have an oil stain.
Kara
Why do you have more than one glove with this oil stain issue? It just seems odd that there are more than one. Did something happen during manufacturing that caused several of gloves to have this issue? NCcoach
All of the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL "Cosmetic Blem* have the oil stain. The oil spots on these gloves were from a manufacturing error that effected an entire batch of A2000 KP92BL gloves.
Kara
How long will these be in stock? yyyityeuty
The Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 KP92BL *Cosmetic Blem* will be in stock until we run out of them. They are going fast.
