Yes, this glove can be used for 3rd base. 11.75 are about as big as I would go for 3rd base. Most infield gloves are 11.00-11.50, but sometimes you are able to use an 11.75 at 3rd.

They make this glove in a Left Hand Throw, but it is currently out of stock. Right now, the only other 11.5 inch A2000 we have in a Left Hand Throw is the SCASO.

Many, many years ago 50- I bought a Wilson A 2000 when I played in high school. It was so soft. It didn't really need to be broken in. It was soft, almost like a kid glove. Is there such a thing out there today? Conrad

No, this would be fine. I used a modified trapeze webbing when I pitched and had no issues with the hitters seeing into my glove.

The Wilson A2000 Series is not flared. However, you should be able to flare the glove during the break in process. The Louisville Slugger TPX Pro Flare Series: FL1175CC is already flared and could be another option for you.
