do work son!!!!

Pros: Great glove! I love it. it holds it shape really well after a year and a half of having this glove. the fingers stay stiff while the pocket shapes however you want it to be. Very light and very soft leather

Cons: Breaking in this glove took FOREVER. theres pretty much no padding in the palm. this is an AMAZING glove, but my next one will probably be a Rawlings Pro Preferred.

Pros: This glove is top quality, the leather is by far the best quality I have ever experienced, anyone can benefit from having a glove like this.

Cons: Quality of the A2000 doesn't quite exceed its price the way it used to; however, this is still a top of the line glove

Pros: Awesome glove! Perfect for a serious middle infielder. Real tough, light, and plenty of finger room>

Cons: Hard to break in, but patience is worth it. Try a glove mallet when not in the field on your spare time

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson A2000 Series: A2000 1788ABL? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Why is the leather so hard? Why are bumps near the heel? Pulled strings too tight? alejandro
This is a high quality glove, made from a high quality leather. It will take some time, but once it's broken-in it will soften up. Because this is a high quality leather that is pretty stiff when it's brand new, it will have small bumps or crease at certain points in the leather (most commonly in the heel). Once it's broken-in these should become less prominent.

cud I find it for a cheaper price somewere else george lopez is funny
We have a very good relationship with Wilson which makes it capable for us to offer very competitive prices. If you find it cheaper somewhere else, let us know and we should be able to price match it.
Josh
Cud u flair dis glove george lopez is funny
Sure. As you break-in this glove, you can form it and shape it yourself to give it flare features.

Want to purchase a high end A2000 series glove for my 10 year old son who is mainly a middle infielder , though may play center field, has his old glove since he was 7, which is a 11.5 louisville, He plays little league and travel. Would you recommend a size 12 ? Jim
Most infielders use a 11.00-11.50 inch glove. Most outfielders use a 12.00-12.50 inch glove. If he is going to be playing mostly in the infield, then I would recommend this glove. This would be a great glove for him to use and it will hold up.
Brett
Is this glove true to size, or is it a little loose or tight compared to 11.25 gloves? nickyt22
This glove will be true to its size. Most Wilson gloves will be true to the size that is advertised.
Brett
how long will it last cuss im lookin for maybe a year or two?? bb
The A2000s are durable gloves and should last well over one or two seasons.
JH
will oiling the glove mess up the leather? brandon
No. Just be sure to use glove oil you can purchase through us or at a sporting goods store. Also, be sure to use it in moderation. A little oil can go a long way, and if you use too much oil it can cause the glove to become heavier and the leather may wear down quicker.
