Since its introduction in 1957, the Wilson A2000 has set the standard for premium baseball gloves. With over 55 years of game changing performance, the A2000 only continues to get better and is still one of the most popular glove choices among baseball's top athletes around the world. Wilson has spent decades working with MLB players to refine the A2000 baseball glove so that it outperforms and outlasts all others. It is made from American Pro Stock Steerhide Leather that is hand selected for its rugged durability, long lasting structure, and unbeatable feel. Inside the glove, there is an extremely comfortable Dri-Lex Wrist Lining that helps keep sweat at bay and ensures your hand stays cool and dry. Each A2000 model also features the patented Dual-Welting that creates a pre-curved finger design to help maintain the most stable and durable pocket possible. Unmatched in their feel and performance, all A2000 patterns are endlessly field tested and constantly improved by hundreds of professionals and top amateur players that choose only Wilson Ball Gloves. The result is a glove that breaks in perfectly for hardworking players everywhere. Wilson: The Official Glove of Major League Baseball!

The 1787 pattern is great for middle infielders, as well as a third baseman. With a dark brown and blonde colorway, this model is an excellent option for all ages. Pros: Very attractive. Forms well to the hand. Well accommodates 2 to the pinky. Very durable. The 1787 is 1786's bigger, younger brother, but it is not a clone of the 1786. If you're looking for a 1786 that's merely longer (1/4"), the 1787 is not quite it. Are the 2 gloves strikingly similar? Yes. But to me, the additional length of the 1787 seems to change the 1787's shape, as well. The 1787 seems narrower than the 1786 and, accordingly, seems to require more focus on forming and maintaining the width of the glove's pocket. The 1787's pocket, with the additional length, also strikes me as a bit deeper than the 1786's. If you want, as I did, merely a longer 1786, the 1787 very well, but not flawlessly, satisfies. Nonetheless, I recommend both the 1787 and the 1786 as terrific middle infield gloves.
Cons: If quick break-in is important to you, the 1787 takes a bit longer than the 1786 to break in. Neither, however, requires an inordinate amount of time to break in (and I break in a glove simply by wrapping the glove with an 11" softball in the pocket, tossing a baseball into the pocket, opening and closing the break points repeatedly, and playing catch.)
The Wilson A2000 11.75" Baseball Glove (WTA20RB181787) features dark brown lacing.
I play some 3B and 2B. Can this glove be used for 2B?
This Wilson A2000 11.75" Baseball Glove (WTA20RB181787) has an 11.75" length which is a little longer than what is typically preferred at 2B. However, if you are comfortable with that length of glove and it presents no issues on a transfer from ball-to-hand, this mitt would be fine for use at 2B.

When do you expect to receive the 2018 Wilson A2000 1785 (11.75, gap welting, black, blonde, red, and white) for sale? How will that glove play in comparison to the 2018 Wilson A2000 1787, a very attractive glove to my eye?

Does it have fur in it and is it comfortable?
This Wilson A2000 11.75" Baseball Glove (WTA20RB181787) features a Dri-Lex Wrist Lining on the inside of the mitt instead of fur. That Dri-Lex Wrist Lining should feel pretty comfortable on the backing of a player's hand.
My son is 12 and plays travel and middle school ball. Would this be a good glove for 3B and SS?
Yes, this Wilson A2000 11.75" Baseball Glove (WTA20RB181787) would work well for a SS/3B at 12 years old. It does have an 11.75" length that should allow him to grow with the glove as he gets older. As well, if the fitting were a little large to start, I think he would grow into that fitting with a little time.
Is this glove made in Japan or Vietnam?
The Wilson A2000 11.75" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB181787 is made in Vietnam.
I'm 6'3" and weigh 210. Will this glove fit my hand size?
Height and weight will not impact glove fit. The Wilson A2000 11.75" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB181787 would work well for someone playing on the infield.
What is the depth of this glove and how would it compare to a 11.5?
This Wilson A2000 11.75" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB181787 features a standard pocket. Also, it will be slightly longer and have a deeper pocket compared to an 11.5" model.

Yes, JustGloves.com will price match a competitor's listed price!
To do so, we verify some information. If you see an item listed at a lower price elsewhere, this is all we require:
We must verify that the website you want to price match is legitimate and an authorized dealer of the products they sell.
We must confirm that the competitor has the same size and product in stock and ready to ship. If the same size and product is out of stock on the competitor's website, we are unable to match their price.
We must confirm if the competitor charges sales tax and/or shipping fees since these are added to the final price of the product.
Lastly, our Glove Experts must check on the cost we pay to stock the item from the manufacturer. The price match must cover that manufacturer cost for the item.
We have the final decision for matching an online price.
Did you purchase a product from us, but noticed that it is now at a lower price? Please let us know, and we will honor our lowest price within the past 30 days by issuing a refund for the price difference or adjusting the price for you over the phone.
