Pros: Beautiful glove. My 10-year-old loves the feel, construction, everything. Nearly game ready out of the box.
Cons: Our only complaint: it's small. Really small. My son is tall, but no giant. He loves the glove, but after a day gave up on it because it was uncomfortable. We're exchanging for the adult model.
Coach Dad
Pros: My son is 7 and plays different infield positions. His first glove was a hand-me-down Wilson A450 and the A1000 is a nice upgrade. Its been about 3 weeks and is worn in enough for regular use. Its a perfect size for his age. I losened the laces just a bit to deppen the poket. Great Glove, Googd Price. Ordered on a Thursday night, got Tuesday; standard delivery.
Cons: Not much of a con more informative, but there is extra padding in the palm. It took about a week before my son could completely close it.
SH402
Pros: Very easy to break in and very light. Well suited to younger competitive players. Should be a perfect glove to last until really ready for the A2000.
Cons: I was skeptical of the SuperSkin at first, but it is a sweet glove. No complaints.
JAX Blue Claw
Pros: 10U Travel ball player. Soft, easy break in period. Player feels comfortable using in game after a couple of practices. Narrower fingers excellent for smaller hands. SS weight lighter for quicker response time. Comfortable size for both infield (pitcher) and outfield play. Durable leather on impact surfaces.
Cons: None as of yet.
Coach Pops
Pros: Great glove. Game ready. Quality ECCO leather. 9 year old son loves it.
Cons: None as of yet.

About the Brand
A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.
