I want to know what size first base glove would be a good size for a seven year old firstbaseman Galvin

A 7 year old would be better suited with the smallest size first base mitt possible, which would be 11.5 inch. Many younger players also use a regular fielders glove at first base. If you use a regular glove, then I would look at something around the 10.5 inch range.

what is the difference between this and the Wilson A750 1st base mitt?? scott

The A0750 first base mitt (model OXBM) that Wilson used to produce was designed for fastpitch softball and was a half inch larger. It was made from the same leather as this one. The A0750 OXBM is no longer produced by Wilson though.

Yes, this would be a very good glove for a 12 year old. This glove is ready to play and has very good padding throughout the whole glove. This glove is also easy to open and close.

This may be a little too small for a 14 year old. Generally, a 14 year old will use a first base mitt between 12 and 12.5 inches.

This glove can be used for fastpitch softball. For a 9 year old, a 11.5 or 12 inch firstbase mitt would be recommended. Many 9 year olds will use a regular fielders glove at firstbase, but I've been hearing about more and more 8 to 10 year old girls using a firstbase mitt in fastpitch.
