just not right. danial Coach

Pros: leather appears to be good quality.

Cons: the padding in the thumb stops about halfway down the thumb. the leather below that is very supple and soft which leads to the top half of the thumb being able to just bend backwards at a 45 degree angle. The thumb is very floppy and will not sustain a baseball hitting it...at least won't stop that ball from bending back the thumb and hitting you. glove is pretty much useless. it appears to be a design issue with the padding. unless my glove had a defect from the factory and a incorrect pad in the thumb. I have seen other reviews mention this same thing though, so doubt it. all the laces came very loose also, even the outer laces holding the glove body together.

Cons: 13" glove is really small. Ordered an adult glove for my HS player. It's well sized for a 10U player. Not sure why it's so small.

Pros: I was looking at the pro-model for about two years then this pro-select model came out. So i ordered this for my 50th birthday. I have been using this mitt for the past two seasons and is the best 1st base mitt I've ever used. It was pretty mach game ready out of the box. Just put some glove conditioned on it a few times a year and she is good to go.

Cons: i think it would look better in the tobacco tanned version or all black, other than that, its a great mitt.
